I wonder sometimes why I’m behind on so much anime. I don’t always follow the new anime since I hate waiting each week for the episode to be released, and then I hate waiting on the subs. I tend to drop a series then pick it back up when it’s complete and just marathon the entire show. But there are a few occasions that wonder why I didn’t ever pick up a show in the first place, did it just not interest me enough? Did it not keep me entertained enough? Because that’s certainly not the case with School Rumble.

I just won two auctions on ebay. One i already regret, the other i can’t wait till i get it. I found this one person who was selling this ultra rare figurine and i just had to have her. I’ve been looking for my own for a few months now and i’ve only seen two on ebay, both well over $200+ shipping. I also found a few on Yahoo Auctions Japan, but none of the sellers ship internationally, plus they seem fake to me. The ultra coveted Max Factory 1/8 Naru.

Once again my boredom overcame me, and the end result was a subpar photo shoot. I really need to take a class or something to make much better shoots. I’m overall happy with the end result but this one took the longest to shoot out off all the shoots I’ve done in the past. I did the Hime Kuri girls this time around since there seems to be a lack of photos focused on these lovely lolis. I have both since originally one was mine and the other belonged to my boyfriend, but since he really never cared for his figures i stole them and added them to my ever growing collection. They never really counted as his anyways since i bought them all and i liked them more than he ever did. Now lets cut to the chase already!

Hopefully today is my last day being sick, i finally went to the doctors and got some awesome cough meds so i should be back to work tomorrow. Once again boredom took over and i did another shoot today. I did Fuka and Yotsuba today since i noticed there aren’t many reviews of either online. Both are real simple figures, neither awesome stand out, but i liked the Yotsuba the manga so much i just had to own them both. Plus the fact that both were pretty inexpensive was a huge plus.

Sadly I’m still sick but I’m feeling much better. I had more energy today to actually go outside for a change and i went and did another photo shoot with Mahoro this time. I’ve been dying to do a Mahoro shoot since i got her. I originally intended to do this on another stretch of road farther away but traffic has increased pretty badly in that area, and i didn’t want to risk putting myself or Mahoro in any danger.

Here we are with my newest photo shoot! Max Factory’s Shirakawa Kotori. She was a figure i had to add to my collection and i’m glad i was able to get my hands on her. I had finally seen Da Capo and loved Kotori as a character and knew i had to get this figure. She’s an older figure and but you can see that Max Factory had Quality as a priority from the start with their figures.

Been in bed all weekend, sick. I’ve got a sore throat and a runny nose and it sucks. Worst part is i HAVE to get better by monday. I’ve mentioned it before somewhere that i work as a baby photographer. I work in a hospital and i take pictures of newborn babies and sell them to the mothers. Now if i ever need to call in sick i just call the girl who works are the sister hospital about 3 miles away from the hospital i work at to cover for me. Well she got fired this last Monday so I’m covering both hospitals till we get a new person. So now that I’m sick there is no one to cover for me.

I don’t know if anyone knows but i hate, HATE WITH A PASSION, Johnny Yong Bosh. He sounds the same in every damn thing he does and this dub of Code Geass is just the same as all his other roles. I just saw the first episode of Code Geass online at AdultSwim.com and i have to admit, i hated every minute of it. Kallen sounds like a whinny bitch, C.C. Sounds too monotone, Lelouch sounds just… TERRIBLE! Rival sounds like he’s trying to be too damn cool. Shirley sounds like a dingbat (oh wait she is) but worse in this dub, Milly sounds like she’s in love with Lelouch. Orange-kun sounds like your generic bad guy, Suzaku sounds like a sissy. it’s easy to say that I don’t like dubs, if you honestly love anime why not watch it in its original form.
