Leaning Figures of DOOM!

Posted under Figures & Humor

So I happen to own lots of Fate/Stay Night & Fate/Hollow Ataraxia Figures. One of them being the Alter 1/6 Saber Swimsuit PVC. She’s an amazing figure in my opinion but she has one fatal flaw.

She leans.

Yeah it’s pretty bad but i found the way to best mold her back!

I’ve heard lots of people recommending to get a hair dryer and hold it near her until she moves back them just hold her in position.

Well here’s the major flaw with that idea, you can burn the paint right off if you get to close, or if your hair dryer is to powerful. So what do I do?

I place her legs under hot running water until they are flexible enough to bend back into place. Then I hold her legs into position while running then under cold water (not to cold don’t want to break the plastic). Then once she’s done dry her off them place her back in her box with the plastic mold that held her in place for transit, (this is best in case her weight makes her bend again since she was just exposed to heat she might still be flexible and bend again).

The ending result?

a Nice non-leaning Saber.

MY saber starded leaning and snapped one of the pins out. Used a screw but she’s still leaning. I simply put her away for a month in her box. I’v relocated my figures and now i can hold her head backards.
