I'm a guy, and I have no trouble admitting that. It was terribly moving. I also cried a bit in the next episode, with the part about Viral. I intended to watch it when it started, but got sucked into a lot of other stuff, so I never got to it. I've never been much of a Gainax fan either. I have Black-Order's subs on my external, so I might grab the speedsubs and start watching this week... before things get crazy with all the new stuff for the fall. I’m ashamed to say that I haven’t watched Gurren Lagann yet. I intended to watch it when it started, but got sucked into a lot of other stuff, so I never got to it.
