The Clannad Ending is really sweet, it’s about families, and people as a whole. It’s about togetherness and they use the Dango Families as a metaphor. I think it was done beautifully and So far it’s been my favorite ending to a series in a long time.

Chata is awesome. Go check out the Potemayo ED single (Utatane) even if you haven’t watched that series. Really good song. Her other major label single was the Growlanser VI single (Bravery), which had a few really good tracks. She’s done quite a bit of doujin stuff before as well.
Also if you like the melody of the song itself, check out the original Clannad game version of the song, Chiisana Tenohira. Same general melody, but different lyrics. It’s on the Clannad OST, but last I saw it was only released in FLAC and was over a 1 GB.
Someone might have converted it to mp3 by now, but even if not, the OST is worth the download. Nagisa singing Dango Daikazoku in ep 2 was also pretty cool.
After watching episode two, I finally see the significance of the ED!
