I know it all too well! Hahahahaha!! Damn magazines, figures, bath towel (wtf?!), videogames, and GAS.... SuperS does get tiresome, especially Chibiusa's "Onegai Pegasus" crap and her rabu-rabu with a horse.... But SuperS is a MUST SEE in terms of the first 10-ish episodes of Stars. The SuperS story actualyl FINISHES in Stars. Stars does a lot of dramatic changes to the Sailormoon "formula," in a few ways. From SM to R to S to SuperS, you basically brought in new characters, new powerups, and new villains. SuperS <I>feels</I> tedious because you gone through 140+ episodes of it. S was amazing in the sense that it was darker and actually brought in new solid characters. SuperS though has a lot of filler and a lot of characters. However, as you get towards the end, the story gets really good. Stars, on the other hand, strips away a lot of that stuff and goes back to the basics. Although Haruka, Michiru, Setsuna, Hotaru, Chibiusa, and Mamoru are all absent from the story or play a much smaller role. They bring in the Starlights, but they're quite entertaining. However, the core to Stars is something that hasn't been around since probably Sailormoon R, the relationship between Usagi and Mamoru, and a focus on just Usaga, Rei, Ami, Mina, and Makoto. Not to mention they changed the OP song. Moonlight Densetsu had been running for 160 something episodes, so changing it was a big move if you think about it. They changed in S and SuperS, but it was the same song, just different artist (DALI vs. Moon Lips). I know what being broke feels like! I know it all too well! Hahahahaha!!
