I never knew an anime could really make me feel so calm, so warm and fuzzy on the inside as much as Aria, and i’m only one the 4th episode of The Animation! I wonder why I never saw this series in the first place. It’s beautifully animated, and the music just soothes my soul. There is something about this show that is just drawing me in, I can’t stop watching it right now. Normally with slice of life shows, no matter how much I love them it takes me a few episodes to really warm up. That’s why I wait for them to be completed so I can marathon it later. Instead of waiting every week for a new episode and getting bored, but I know that if I saw this when it was first being aired I would have been waiting patiently every week for the newest episode to be released. Just about every character that is being introduced to me I love. But right now i love the most Alicia, Akari and Alice, they are definitely my favorites at this point in the series.
Alicia, ever so sweet and kind, “Ara Ara” *giggles*. So far there hasn’t been much character development with Alicia but she’s just an amazing undine and i can understand why so many of the girls look up to her. She’s beautiful, graceful and ladylike, she commands a presence yet isn’t overbearing. She’s obviously Akari’s role model and apparently even of the competing companies apprentices look up to her.
Akari with her ever so wonderful optimism! Just can’t keep a smile off this girls face

I’m enjoying watching these episodes of following Akari, i can’t quite put my finger on it. she’s just an amazing character, if she were an actual person in real life i think i would love to be her friend. Her optimism is just contagious and i find myself smiling along side her, it’s hard to say how i feel right now about Akari, I’m almost looking up to her with her optimism and her love of life and her love of what she does.
Alice might have taken a little bit to warm up, but she’s so sweet and you can tell she cares so much for Akari. I at first thought she was stuck up for not wanting to sign those girl’s magazine, but then when we find out that it’s not that she’s stuck up, but more of she doesn’t feel worthy of such attention. That she feels she’s not a good enough undine yet, how she tries to hard to smile yet can’t. My heart just reaches out to her and I wanted to give her a big hug.
I’m so thankful that I started this series and I know it’s going to be a favorite!

And it’s nice that it’s the type of show where you can watch episodes weeks or even months apart, and it’s always enjoyable.
