How a Girl Figures

So i just got finished with watching both Whisper of the heart and The Cat Returns, and i’ve honestly have got to say that I haven’t loved a ballroom scene as much since The Labyrinth.

oh jareth… ahhh *swoons*

Something about a man who cames to save a damsel in distress, while looking awesome and dancing is amazing.

(btw the dancer in me would like to point out that this is not actual dancing but fancy poses strung together to fancy music)

Ok back on topic, I loved this movie as well. I don’t know what it was about The Cat Returns so much, was it that fact that i had just seen Whisper of the heart and I loved how they reused characters? I’m not so sure, but this scene is what sealed the deal for me.

I will honestly say that during this scene all i wanted to do was go and make the boyfriend dress up and dance with me. I’m not sure what it is about The Baron in this scene, but he had me swooning over him. I honestly think it’s the hat and mask combo, hum mayb should invest in a hat and mask for the boyfriend Now I’m not about to go and run and add the Baron to My Reverse Harem, but he’d be a strong candidate for future consideration…
