I'm a huge fan of Akira, and when I first started collecting figures one of the first figures I got was Alpha's Kaneda. The one of him sitting on the red chair. Ever since I got him I wanted the Tetsuo to match, but haven't had the chance to get him. I spotted him once at a con for $40 which wasn't a… [more]

Kyo-Ani's first step into making anime figures was such a lovely success. When Yuki was first announced I was apprehensive on getting her since Kyo-ani never made any figures before. It seems from their recent releases of K-on figures that this first beautiful release was a fluke since those suck,… [more]
Since I've been selling stuff on Etsy I've been looking around from time to time of items of my favorite characters, when I spotted Yoko on this etsy vendor I knew I had to have it! One man’s trash is another man’s treasure, well it couldn’t be more perfect for this magazine that my brother recently found. His friend had these items just sitting in his garage and just gave them to my brother, he has no idea that for an otaku, how valuable those items are. Not just in money but for posterity. They contain so many articles and i just wish i knew at least some Japaneses. But alas I didn’t get much time with said magazine but I did take a million pictures to share with all of you.

Inside of the package for the magazine was this activity book. Someone had drawn in it but only on the one page, I really wish I knew Japaneses so I could at least read all of this.
Last but not least, my brother’s friend also gave him this McFarlane Trigun action figure. I’ve never seen a McFarlane action figure up close before and I must say compared to my lovely PVC laides, I’m not at all impressed. He’s made of a rubber like material and bends easily. Plus his arm is breaking off and it just seemed off poor quality. My brother was raving about how he’s super rare and you can’t find him anywhere, but a quick search found plenty of the same action figure for about $15.
All in all, I am a bit jealous of my brother for having the magazine, it’s a treasure for an anime fan as myself and knowing him he’ll at least keep it in good condition. Plus if he gets bored of having it he’ll eventually give it to me

Sorry for my lack of gundam knowledge… I’m a poor excuse for an anime fan and have never seen an entire season of gundam
I didn’t mean to be rude. It’s just you have found a nice treasure
@Charz
nah don’t worry i was joking ^_^
but i do honestly admit i need to sit down and watch some gundam anime…
1. That was the golden days.
2. Ruined by Dragonar.
3. Where is the infamous sealed page inside that always contains bits about the ‘latest’ Cream Lemon feature?
@DQ: Just sit down with 00 and watch it straight through. It’s better in larger helpings than week-by-week, at least for me.
