It reminds me of barbies legs...because of those lines.

You have a lot of figurines.

I only have a couple.
And most of them are Fate Stay night.
anyway.
I like the picture with konata-chan.

Got it. Taking a closer look at mine, your Akari looks authentic too. For confirmation, here's the underside of the base:

(C) 1999 AQUAPLUS
MADE IN CHINA

Somehow, her red hair, bow and skirt on my Akari are cleaner with fewer blemishes. But yeah, the same exact mold-seam markings appear in the same lines of her hair, sleeves and legs. Looking back, what a difference in figure quality in just a few years.

@DQ: Wow, she really looks beat up. I don't remember mine looking that bad. For example. First thing I thought was, "Is that a bad bootleg?" Here's my brief photoshoot couple years ago (simple login). Maybe after work, I'll take her outta the box for a closer look. >_<

A good figure for the fans, but a bit too bland for me ^^; *picky*

Oh dear, those lines are hideous! I'm so glad most figures are out of that era now @_@
