well mine is about the same difficultly level and mine wasn’t hard to build at all. the instructions are in japanese but they have pictures and they are super easy to follow and bui8ld even if you don’t speak a word of japanese

yeah he needs to be assembled, not sure about painting thought but most likely you would need to paint it if you wanted it to be fully detailed. but the plastic is colored so it does still look fine not painted. i own this one http://www.hlj.com/product/BAN948836

but as you an see it’s till very detailed without paint.

now for me at least assembly wasn’t that hard, it was actually a lot of fun as well and gave me a nice sense of accomplishment once he was finished. i would go fit it plus it’s not a bad price either.
