It's been not only a long time since I've posted here, but it has been a long time since I shared photos of my place. The last time you guys saw where I lived I was still living at home with my parents. It was back in 2012, so easily 4 years ago you saw my collection. Now you can see not only has my… [more]
So since I've moved into my new apartment I still hadn't set up my photography studio. Seems work has me busier than I thought I would ever be, however I took some time this past weekend to set up my studio so I could take some photos of my latest purchase, Alter's 1/8th Melty from Shining Hearts. Now… [more]
Pre-ordered this figure the moment she was released for pre-order. I needed for for multiple reasons, she's sexy/half naked, plus while she's not Sora she reminds me of Sora from Yosuga no Sora! But she's Yuki from Maid Yome and she's pretty amazing. The only issue is her adorable mouth really looks… [more]
I recently went on a trip to a magical place, The Container Store. Ok it's not really magical, but I happen to have discovered a love for organizing my home. I tend to prefer Ikea and Daiso but we went to The Container Store on a whim and I discovered this lovely storage container! I've been needing… [more]
One of my first posts on this blog was about my leaning Saber Swimsuit figure. I bought her at a local anime shop on impulse and was so excited when i got her. She’s a very cute and figure and so nicely detailed. but after an accident she’s been leaning ever since…
She is truly such an amazing figure and i was devastated when she started leaning. Now the hot water treatment i applied did work for a while.
Now the major problem and the reason why she started to lean was that i had her on a shelf in front of a window. My mom came in and opened the window and the wind knocked her down and broke her off her base, which also broke the base. Now i was able to glue her back on but since she wasn’t placed on the base properly and she started leaning even worse.
Now i pretty much had her off her base and sitting on a shelf trying to figure out a way to fix her. I came up with the idea to get a custom base! I got the base through E2046.com and then make a hole in her leg and screw her to the base.
In the end I’m very pleased on the final result. I was terrified when my dad showed me how we would drill into her leg. then when he made me do it myself! I nearly crapped my pants when the drill went into her leg but it went in so smoothly and it worked so well! Now so far she’s not leaning and is looking good. I’ll make sure to keep you all updated on whether or not she leans again.
