i’m on a crusade, a crusade to own all Yoko figures, i already own 7 and have 10 on pre-order. for me Gift’s Yoko and Kotobukiya’s Yoko look amazing. Gift has proven with their saber that they can do a fine job on a figure and kotobukiya has a habit of disappointing me, yet i do know when a figure gets this much publicity as their yoko they tend to work on the quality more so hopefully she comes out amazing

what do you think about the gift and kotobukiya’s yoko? pictures for them have been released and pre-orders are already available. anyway, I’ve preordered Alter’s Yoko as well….fantastic piece of work

alter has always been in my top three figure companies but really it’s been an even tie between alter/max factory/good smile compnay as of late

for the koto yoko i’m getting her but i’m waiting till she’s released before passing judgement, somethings koto does a terrible job and other times they blow you away

I’m one of those folks that didn’t really care for “Gurren Lagan” — I thought the mecha was too silly (I would rather rewatch Gunbuster 2). But regardless, I have to agree that Yoko was/is the main attraction of the series. And I’ve finally brought myself to the point where I’ve pre-ordered my very first Yoko figure (http://www.hlj.com/product/GIF82006). Even though the Bounty Hunter version of Yoko looks really nice, I like the “Gift” one a lot more. Plus, the “Gift” version is larger than the Bounty Hunter version (1/5 scale versus 1/8 scale), and the larger size is fairly priced.

She really is great! I agree she is the best Yoko of them all so far! But I wish the Kotobukiya Yoko would get more credit then it seems to be getting. I feel like that Yoko is going to turn out real well too.

I dunno. I really thought I was going to get this figure when I first saw the prepaint models, but somehow the official samples don’t seems to look as …fierce. Still, I think I’ll get this if just for the fact that I don’t have a Gurren Lagaan figure.

That is the most badass Yoko figure I’ve ever seen. Alter is now one of my favorite figure manufacturers.
