Siegfried & Roy’s Secret Garden & Dolphin Habitat

While in Vegas this past weekend went to Siegfried & Roy’s Secret Garden & Dolphin Habitat Inside the Mirage. While it really shouldn’t be called secret garden since it’s not really a secret it is an awesome Dolphin Habitat and since my friend loves fishes and the Shark Reef was closed we went to this instead for the day.

Adorable and awesome dolphins were plentiful for everyone to see and since this place is designed for scientific research and a habitat they don’t do tricks. They sure are cute and love the crowds and like to come up and swim close to the people for the camera.

There was an awesome section where you could go underwater and watch them swim, they would get right up near the glass.

Dolphins are awesome and while we didn’t get to touch these it did remind me once when i was younger at a school trip to seaworld we got to go behind the scenes and feed the dolphins and pet them. They feel like wet rubber.

Some White Lions once past the Dolphins, they don’t do much but sit around, but they sure were beautiful.

Beautiful Leopards, i just adore the pattern of their fur yet don’t ever wear anything leopard print. Too bold for my taste.

They had a baby leopard, the cutest thing ever!

Someone needs to buy Java here for me, so cute and playful, got tons of blurry shots since Java wouldn’t sit still and was playing with the trainer inside.

Last the little baby dolphin, so adorable! Got so close to us we could have touched her, yet weren’t allowed to and didn’t want to get kicked out so we didn’t. the Dolphin Habitat was actually a lot smaller than i though it would be but was worth it for the baby Leopard and the baby Dolphin. Seems like i get off of work from Taking pictures of newborn (human) babies to come to Vegas to take pictures of more babies but of the animal variety. Sadly these are the only pictures I took during the trip to vegas, other than the silly pictures we took outside the Luzor riding “certain statues”, but those are for us to look back later and giggle at the silly things we did.

    @Blowfish:
    i was considering posting this there, since everyone loves “dolphins” but then it’s totally not otaku related

    Oh man…I love kitties…even the kind that can eat me alive. I’ve never realized how gorgeous White Lions are, I love them. That baby leopard, had I been there you wouldn’t be able to pull me away from him. I’d probably be tapping the glass and clicking my tongue to get that cutie to look at me. I agree with you on leopard patterns, it only looks gorgeous on the leopards themselves and tacky on anything else.

    I just want to take that leopard home (and release it into the wild once it becomes an adult)!

    Dolphins are pretty awesome, too. I’d like to pet one myself someday.

    I had a chance to go to discovery cove this past December and got to swim with the dolphins. It was fun.

    I agree with @Blowfish. It doesn’t bother me to find such posts here. Actually it’s nice to read these posts time by time. Look, it would be different if you were on a group or professional blog. But you are not. At top, your blog main purpose remains to be figures etc. So, it’s okay.

    I think the baby leopard is way cutier than the dolphins ever could.

    @Lovelyduckie:
    well some people can pull of leopard print and tastefully, but i just can’t seem to at all

    @Vanessa:
    or just train him to do tricks and open your own vegas show

    @Blowfish:
    nah it doens’t go with the site, but i do like to point out fun and itneresting things i may have done that people don’t know about

    @Kimagure:
    ok that’s way better than seeing them, swimming with them sounds so awesome!

    @Hirvine:
    i’m not professional :( ? the baby leopard was just so cute seeing it play with the trainer, if only i had a video camera with me!
