It’s a shame about the base, but the figure looks pretty nice overall. The shoes might not make sense but I still like them

Ahh the Shuraki figures… They’re all so pretty… I want one… But not now…. other things to buy… like the Freeing Nagi… Are you still getting her or have you cancelled your preorder after the new pics came out?

Man i should of bought one. I was lazy and didn’t. I figured it was the least popular one and I’ll stay in stock for a long time

As far as Char is concerned. Man I went through hell to get that figure. My first attempt ended up in a mis-delivery because the company didn’t really control the warehouse. I had to fight via my credit card company to get my refund. Basically it got “signed” for by someone at a different address. That place is Animewild.com / Phamtastic Inc in CA (I found them on AAA Anime’s Retail listing when they had it public). The guy took so long to make a claim from UPS. I at least got my money back. And I’m sure i got me refund because the guy never answered his cellphone which is listed on the merchant account on my credit card bill. So buyer beware about that place.

Then as this was happening I scrambled to e-bay it from japan and ended up with Two of them. Because I won 2 of them. For about $230 out of pocket. And by some miracle i was able to re-ebay one off for $140 before shipping so I broke even.

The only good thing for those who don’t have Char is that it appears Good Smile is doing some Re-issues/re-runs of the series.. Or so the places say. Char was complex so it’d be a hard knockoff with Book and CD.

I’m glad you posted…I was debating buying her on sale and trying to MAKE sure her peg doesn’t break this time. Maybe strengthen the peg with a think layer of glue that I let dry before I put her on the base. I was also thinking something along the lines of being EXTRA CAREFUL and it working out ok. But to hell with it, I’ll just balance her on the base in a corner on my shelf.
