well to make a long story very short, from my understanding the original license holders of macross don’t like how the US went with the series so they won’t let them release frontier in the US

So she is a cast off. That is something I didn’t know…
I too can’t wait for the movie to come out!!!
I’m wondering why did that make the green haired version limited.
I recently got my limited edition green hair Ranka on my trip to Japan.
She’s hard to find and on top of that, she is pretty expensive.
