So it seems that we had a brilliant idea for a little video project but we needed a Ganguro Girl for the project. My lips are sealed as to what the video is but you’ll see what it’s for at The Indecent Otaku Comedy Show Saturday at Noon at Anime Expo this year!
The show at Anime Expo is gonna be really awesome, did you know that we even got Danny Choo to come all the way over from Japan to California just for our little show!
I know that Ganguro Girls have stickers all over their face, sadly I don’t have enough stickers just yet and I went with the only ones I had, penguin stickers!
I felt so ridicoulous in this outfit but I would love to go out in public dressed like this just to see people’s reactions.
Even put on some super crazy long nails! It was so good to get those off, was terrible to try and type or even handle my phone!

So I’m actually really happy with this crazy outfit! I might wear this one day as a cheap easy silly cosplay one day! What our your thoughts on Ganguro fashion? It’s so silly and outrageous but in the end was really fun dressed up so silly and crazy!

I really like Lolita too, but Ganguro for now is much easier to pull off, since all you need is crazy makeup and flamboyant outfits

Wouldn’t that technically be more of a manba cosplay, considering that’s the style with the white makeup? I think ganguro is just light hair and tanned skin, for the most part.
Either way, you definitely pulled the style off pretty damn well. ~
