Winter Wonfes was this weekend in Japan and with it has some an array of many stunning and wonderful figures! It would take me far too long to list out every figure that has come out, so instead, I bring you a list of my personal favorites, figures I cannot live without! First up, a Sega prize figure… [more]
I'm a huge fan of Akira, and when I first started collecting figures one of the first figures I got was Alpha's Kaneda. The one of him sitting on the red chair. Ever since I got him I wanted the Tetsuo to match, but haven't had the chance to get him. I spotted him once at a con for $40 which wasn't a… [more]

Kyo-Ani's first step into making anime figures was such a lovely success. When Yuki was first announced I was apprehensive on getting her since Kyo-ani never made any figures before. It seems from their recent releases of K-on figures that this first beautiful release was a fluke since those suck,… [more]
Good Smile Company does it again! Another amazing stunning and gorgeous Saber figure! Saber ~Triumphant Excalibur~ is so beautifully made I’m so stunned when i really got to see her up close and even more so when I compared her to an older Good Smile Saber figure I own. To think that in three short years they’ve stepped up their quality standards by so much really amazes me!
I love her face, such aggression, passion, anger. The shade of metal on her armor, the blue of her dress, simply amazing how well and how detailed they went for Saber.
Love the engraving on her breastplate and how well detailed it is!
Again her armor is so stunning, you almost think it’s actual metal!
You can’t see it clearly here but her front flap is kinda weirdish looking apparently looking at another figure owned by a friend and the promotional photos it’s on purpose but it just seems weird to have it be splotchy on the front flap, however it doesn’t detract from the figure overall.
her hands gripping Triumphant Excalibur do look amazing!
Excalibur itself looks pretty darn awesome!
You can see so much better here what i meant about the splotchyness, i don’ know why they would choose to do this for her design.
Saber’s hair does look amazing but then it’s not hard to ruin her braided bun.
The base is very similar to the style that of Saber Lily, this is certainly a figure that would look best displayed next to Saber Lily and the upcoming Alter Saber by Good Smile as well.
This particular saber is so stunning and amazing any fan of Saber should do their best to own her, and any figure collector worth their salt will be doing like me to get their hands on her! I sadly missed out and this sample belongs to my brother. I will be doing my best to save up and purchase her for myself since she is so stunning! I can’t have Saber Lily without this lovely saber too!
Also don’t forget to catch me on AX Live! Every Wednesday at 7pm PST! We’ve been doing Figure Giveaways recently so make sure to check out the show to be able to win some awesome figures!!

Woot! A review!
I’m not a big Fate/??? or Saber fan, I got to say I’m really glad for that. Otherwise there wouldn’t be anything to hold me back from getting GSC’s releases.
I like this figure quite a bit, the one thing that bothers me is that Saber’s lovely face is partially covered by her arm. Other than that, if I was a Saber fan this figure would be sitting on my shelf right now.
see i kinda like how it’s covered, it’s much more realistic with with that type of pose. If her arm wasn’t covering her face it wouldn’t be a natural attack pose
I really like this version of her, how she’s in full attack mode is awesome to see. Not quite as pleased with the transparent blade though, and the base should’ve had the same flooring as Lily in my opinion. ^^ But that’s just about all I can complain about, which really aren’t complains just preferences as this is one awesome figure. Sadly I couldn’t afford her and I already have Rider for my Saber Lily to face off with so she’s on the wish list but we’ll see when I eventually get around to her. :3 Glad to see more reviews up as well keep em coming!
hopefully more reviews to come!
Amazing figure! I really want this one, I hope I can afford her before she gets sold out everywhere. Cool review as usuals.
Thanks for the great review! Kind of weird with the splotchyness, though. When comparing figs, was it the same exact splotychness or just similar splotchyness? If exactly the same it’s a design choice, if only similar then it would seem to be a manufacturing problem.
Wanted this one so badly, but the price and GSC’s QC issues at the time made me hesitate. Still, a beautiful figure overall. Thanks for sharing! ^^
Finally got this lovely Saber on saturday and I must say she’s absolutely lovely! She’s also my first scaled figure. Supposedly the splotchiness on the front part is based off of official artwork of her. Some people are kind of mixed about the arm in front of her face, but I don’t have that problem with her. Plus, you can just adjust her angle to get more of her face. I wish I had a Saber Lily… It would be an amazing set.
Great figure i originally was not going to get this saber figure because i did not like how her arm blocked her face but then i seen her on sale at half price and i just cant resist a GSC figure at that price plus my nendo ver had to have her big sister ^_^ . After seeing the arm in person its not such a big deal and saber looks great from every angle and she would totally be worth full price
Hello!
I’m just new pursuer of your blog. I actually ran across it in the past, but your Nanael post is what brought me to look into your galleries into more detail. I had just recently purchased her and was trying to figure out how to take her top off (she had plastic underneath it protecting her body from scrapes, so it wasn’t like I could keep it like that… heh).
Anyways, I’m also a figure collector and just recently started a blog, I just haven’t gotten the time to go through all my figures and photograph them, but that’s the plan eventually. You have a lot of figures that I have, incidentally. ^^
I wanted to comment on this figure though, since I own it too. The splotchyness you describe on the her front dress flap is actually how the fabric is supposed to be. Take these images for example…

The uneven color is probably due to the fact of what type of fabric it is. If I had to make a guess, I'd probably say crushed velvet or something of that nature. This is not supposed to be one solid color like her dress and such.
As a fellow Fate/Stay Night+Saber+Figurine fan, I thought I would share that with you. Thanks for the neat reviews!
This figurine is one that we are sorrily upset that we missed it. It is really a magnificent figurine and we do hope to have it in the future some time.
As for the uneven colors on the front it is interesting to know that. But as Millenium Strife has pointed out it does seem like that front flat of fabric is like that in the other pictures of her. Either way I think they did an amazing job on this work of art.
