I love how everyone is making such effort to help. And even as I pretty much only buy figures through pre-order I’ll see if there’s something that I can buy in order to help. Donating directly really helps a lot so I’d recommend that as a measure you can take if you don’t have any specific figure or can’t spend the entire amount of a brand new figure.

On another note I thought for sure that the yen would take a nose dive, but it hasn’t really changed at all has it? :3 (which is good)

      We pray for japan~

Thanks for the links! There are so many ways fans can help Japan in its time of need.

Lots of anime and manga bloggers are taking part in Anime and Manga Bloggers For Japan, which has already raised $2500 for Doctors WIthout Borders and Shelterbox. If you would consider adding a link and perhaps even a banner you can be a part of it too! Just a humble suggestion for other groups out there :)

      • Dancing Queen says:

i’ll put that up and the banners up as well, right now anyway we can all band together to help is the best!

    3. derp says:

is this all you’re gonna link? just anime shops? you should broaden your horizon for simply donating and not organizations where you get something in return for being generous. i dont even see a red cross link.

      • Dancing Queen says:

there is a link to donate straight to the japanese red cross through google, if you read through the post carefully you would have seen it

    4. derp says:

the otakus think the japan disaster is photoshopped according to culture:japan, haven’t you heard? danny has proven it. surprising he and his following are making it out to be nothing.

    5. [...] quite a bit of money raised already. Anything you can donate will help. Dancing Queen also has a great post on How A Girl Figures about all the other ways you can donate and help as well. So donate and help [...]
