Got my Good Smile Company 1/8 Meifeng Liu #2 of the Shuraki series today, and I am a happy camper! She is so amazing!! When I first saw images of her when she was being announced i didn’t even bother looking into what she was from, since i had a strict rule at the time of only buying figures from series i know and of characters i like. That was my way of stopping my impulse buys, but i just kept looking at photo shoots people had done when they first got their hands on this PVC goddess. I started wanting her more and more and i started looking into the shuraki series. I eventually gave in to my wants and ordered her through Kid Nemo Company and i got her today!

Once again another yoko Figure was announced. Why do I have to love this show so much? Why did i ever promise myself that i’ll own EVERY Gurren Lagann Figure Made? Cause now I’m going to be broke FOR THE REST OF MY LIFE! This Yoko is Amazing, but then i will have to admit, i’m fully biased and as i stated already i’ll buy any GL figure. I’m not even a fan of Yoko’s Post-Time Skip outfit. I think her tits look saggy in it… But she looks so great in this pose. I’m just hoping that Wave doesn’t screw this one up, I only have one Wave figure and it’s decent but i haven’t seen many other good ones.

As many figure collectors know the pains of figure storage. There are some of us who toss out all the boxes and there are other like me who keep them all. Why do you ask? Well there are a few reasons, #1 if i ever decide to sell said figure having the box will help retain it’s value. #2 if i ever need to store them for the summer to prevent leaning, and #3 if i ever move it’ll be the best way to move my figures and prevent as much damage as possible. In my entire collection of figures there are only a few that i don’t have the boxes for. Ok only one, my Good Smile Company Kaname Chidori, she doesn’t have her box. I bought her without the box from this one store but I’m sure that she’s a real figure since i saw the box before i bought it. But when i went back a while later to get her the owner threw out her box since she was on display in their glass cabinet he thought there was no point in keeping her box…

I know this is a pretty lame post, but lately Kid Nemo has become my absolute favorite online retailer of figures in a long time. I’ve heard some people complain of them but really their customer service is top notch and i have nothing to complain about with their services. When i e-mail them with a question i usually get a response within 1 day or so. Plus the prices are reasonable and i like how they give you an exact date with pre-orders, so you have an idea of when they’ll charge you for your order. What i hated about HLJ was the fact that it would only say the month, meaning i could be charged the first of the month, the middle or the end of the month. So sometimes i would expect it to be at the end of the month and i’d end up getting charged at the beginning of the month and i’d be over drafted on my bank account.

Well what i love is how Kid Nemo let me know they would be at AX before they even announced it on their site! Makes me feel almost important ^_^ I’m a huge bargain shopper when it comes to AX i go to every booth to compare prices between figures but i have a feeling I’ll be spending more money at Kid Nemo’s booth than anyone else’s!

Also checking back here During AX, last year there were a few booths that sold bootlegs and i’ll be posting pictures of them here if they pop up at AX this year again to help you all make sure you stay away!

Normally i try and keep my pre-orders to a minimum but lately i’ve been having extra money. Not paying other people’s rent is amazing! So this means only one thing, more figures coming in! I normally try and keep a 3 figure a month rule to curb my impulse buys but lately some gems have been coming out. Now i’m going to have to curb all extra spending after Anime Expo or i’ll be very very poor. I can’t believe i have 12 pre-orders so far! And there are more and more to come! But then they are all very awesome!

I actually really sympathized with Mitsuki in KGNE, it’s not her direct fault that Haruka got into the accident. Plus she was the one got the balls to talk to Takayuki first and she ended up liking him just as much!

Who doesn’t love Yotsuba! I’ve been dying for this version to be released since they first announced it back at wonfes!

Max Factory 1/8 Miki Hoshii Awaking Ver. (October)

I’m only apprehensive about these two since i’ve never played the games, but the design looks AMAZING! I love the glittery outfits! And Max Factory has never failed to impress me!

I do think i’m going to be selling off a few of my figures that i’ve not been 100% happy with. There is an Idolmaster figure i bought last year at AX and she doesn’t seem to fit into my collection. I’m also going to be selling my Gashapons from Tsubasa Chornicles and Bleach. Plus my two Banpresto Bleach Figures of Ichigo and REnji. I may have liked Renji before but i’m over him. :p

I’ll make a separate post later about all the figures i’ll put up for sale, I’ve got to sit through them and see which to sell and which to keep! I don’t think of selling off these few as getting rid of my collection but weeding out the bad ones to add in my amazing figures.

I haven’t been this excited for a figure since Wonfes. Lately all the announcements for new figures have been not so great. But this for sure has me super excited! I’ve been dying for a Kamina figure for about FOREVER!!! He is going to be super pricey but I’ll pay through the ass is necessary for Kamina.

I’ve had Yoko for a while now and i felt it was time to sit down and take some more pictures. Bein the huge Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann fan i am i had to buy this Yoko figure. I pretty much have to own anything worth having thats from TTGL. This yoko was no exception.
