Calling All Bootleg Figure Owners!

To all bootleg owners wanting to get rid of their bootlegs! Most of us have been there, we start out hungry for figures and find rare figures on ebay and other untrustworthy sites for much less than what they are going for on legitimate sites. We think, “oh they’re so silly, they don’t know the value, but I’m smart so I’ll buy this figure for $10!” Only to get it and it be a bootleg. But then what? You’re stuck with a bootleg, not what? Throw it away? How about I help and take it off your hands! I’m looking to start a project, where I’ll have bootleg figures and their legitimate counterparts or at least something close to so people can be able to start telling the difference between them. So I can start educating more and more people about why bootlegs are so horrible! I do understand I’m not offering much I’ll pay for shipping and $5 for your trouble. I’m hoping some of you will be so kind to help with my en devour! I also want to mention I’ve had people ask me, “why don’t you just buy some bootlegs yourself?” Well it’s simple, I won’t want to give those horrible people ANY OF MY MONEY! Alpha Tetsuo Review

I’m a huge fan of Akira, and when I first started collecting figures one of the first figures I got was Alpha’s Kaneda. The one of him sitting on the red chair. Ever since I got him I wanted the Tetsuo to match, but haven’t had the chance to get him. I spotted him once at a con for $40 which wasn’t a bad deal but the box was really badly damaged and I passed. I almost gave up hope of ever finding him when my good friend Jimsha came to my birthday party he gave me an amazing gift! This awesome Tetsuo figure I’ve been looking for!

For being such an older figure he’s really well made, the etching in his face, the wires, cables and machines coming from his body just look like he’s jumping from the page!

Oh that is a sexy smirk, looking at this figure I can’t help but think they made Tetsuo sexier in this figure than he was in the movie. I felt he was a bit of a crybaby in the movie, oh how figures can portray characters in completely different light.

Tetsuo is as mentioned an older figure but he’s stood the test of time. Having him in my collection is an honor and makes me proud not only have both him and Kaneda, but also to have such wonderful friends who understand what figure collecting means to me! If you ever spot either of those two amazing figures make sure you snag them before anyone else!

Cheerful Japan Luka Nendoroid Previews!

I am still so much in love with the Cheerful Japan line. Good Smile Company’s way of helping us otaku get awesome limited edition figures while also donating to a great cause!

This new Luka won’t come with a new face sadly but does come with some awesome extra parts! New hair option to help Luka put her long pink hair in a ponytail, two adorable pink pom poms, a Cheerful Japan visor for tako luka and a tambourine!

Luka does come with all of her own original parts as well.

She also still comes with the silly “Agoaniki” face which is from the video for the song Double Lariat. It’s actually my favorite Luka song!

Luka is out for order now until the end of the month. She’s 3,500 yen and can be found online here. Get yours before they sell out!

Alter Celty – Durarara!!

If you haven’t heard of Durarara!! you’ve been hiding under a rock for the past couple of years! Alter knows this and now has provided the fans with non-other than an amazingly sexy Celty Sturluson figure!

Dururara!! is a hard series to explain, with 9 main characters each having their own stories to follow you have to see it to understand it. Celty for instance is also known as “The Black Rider” or “The Headless Rider.” She’s a Dullahan from Ireland who rides around Japan looking for her stolen head on her motorcycle which is actually a horse in disguise!

Riding around in her black cat suit, Celty’s sexy curves are wonderfully accentuated in this figure. The wrinkles in the fabric on her hips, shoulders and arms are so realistically portrayed in this stunning figure.

But seriously… dat ass! Oh it’s nice!

Love the addition of the black smoke coming out of her head. Celty wouldn’t be complete if she didn’t com with this option!

KyoAni’s Nagato Yuki Review

Kyo-Ani’s first step into making anime figures was such a lovely success. When Yuki was first announced I was apprehensive on getting her since Kyo-ani never made any figures before. It seems from their recent releases of K-on figures that this first beautiful release was a fluke since those suck, but this Yuki is one of the most beautiful Yuki figures I’ve ever seen.

Yuki was sculpted by Takaku & Takeshi and looking at their track record their figures are just ever so lovely.

The detail of this figure is just astounding, and from every angle Yuki is just a sight to see. I would say with her pose of looking upwards she does look better from a low shelf since seeing her from above does take away some of the allure of her pose.

Her Jacket looks warm and fluffy, would love one right about now with the current cold weather.

If only it were snowing when these pictures were being taken.

I adore Yuki, I only wish I could keep her myself. She’s really hard to find and belongs to my friend who loves Haruhi and Yuki. He now owns one of the most beautiful Haruhi related figures I’ve ever seen. If you ever get the chance to get Yuki for yourself I highly recommend trying!

Cheerful Japan Saber and Rin Nendoroid!

Gordon was lucky enough to get these before I even saw them. Apparently there was an issue with Mikatan’s blog and these must have gotten posted before they were supposed to, but it’s pretty much official that we’re getting adorable Saber and Rin Cheerful Japan Nendoroids! I am beyond ecstatic for these! Been collecting most of the Cheerful Japan Nendoroids and I’m soooooo getting these!

Finally going to have an actual rin nendoroid and not the funky ones they released when they first came out with Nendoroids

Looks like they also come with faces styled after the Hetare Nendoroids of them that were released long ago.

No release of price info, don’t know if it’ll be a set for 6,000 yen or individual at 3,000 each. Either way I’m getting them for sure! I’ll update this post as soon as I have any info on them!

EDIT: Orders start the 11th and end the 28th, they’ll be out in May.

Gift’s Saber Extra

Adoring this latest Saber figure from Gift, I love the Realistic/artistic version of Saber that Gift has been releasing. The extra added detail added to her dress is stunning! I very much need this Saber, still pre-ordered her, just gotta save up for Saber Extra Dollfie Dream since money is a little tight.

Adoring the flowing in the wind look of her clothes!

That face, her smile is just amazing.

Amazing sword!

Wow her boobs are huge! No wonder the DD comes with a Large bust and not the typical medium Saber tends to come with!

Saber just came out for pre-order, she’s stunningly amazing and I’m gonna try my best to get my hands on her! I think she’s my favorite of all the Gift Sabers so far, her face is just wonderful! She comes out around May of next year and is going for around 7,200 yen.
