Alpha Tetsuo Review

I’m a huge fan of Akira, and when I first started collecting figures one of the first figures I got was Alpha’s Kaneda. The one of him sitting on the red chair. Ever since I got him I wanted the Tetsuo to match, but haven’t had the chance to get him. I spotted him once at a con for $40 which wasn’t a bad deal but the box was really badly damaged and I passed. I almost gave up hope of ever finding him when my good friend Jimsha came to my birthday party he gave me an amazing gift! This awesome Tetsuo figure I’ve been looking for!

For being such an older figure he’s really well made, the etching in his face, the wires, cables and machines coming from his body just look like he’s jumping from the page!

Oh that is a sexy smirk, looking at this figure I can’t help but think they made Tetsuo sexier in this figure than he was in the movie. I felt he was a bit of a crybaby in the movie, oh how figures can portray characters in completely different light.

Tetsuo is as mentioned an older figure but he’s stood the test of time. Having him in my collection is an honor and makes me proud not only have both him and Kaneda, but also to have such wonderful friends who understand what figure collecting means to me! If you ever spot either of those two amazing figures make sure you snag them before anyone else!

KyoAni’s Nagato Yuki Review

Kyo-Ani’s first step into making anime figures was such a lovely success. When Yuki was first announced I was apprehensive on getting her since Kyo-ani never made any figures before. It seems from their recent releases of K-on figures that this first beautiful release was a fluke since those suck, but this Yuki is one of the most beautiful Yuki figures I’ve ever seen.

Yuki was sculpted by Takaku & Takeshi and looking at their track record their figures are just ever so lovely.

The detail of this figure is just astounding, and from every angle Yuki is just a sight to see. I would say with her pose of looking upwards she does look better from a low shelf since seeing her from above does take away some of the allure of her pose.

Her Jacket looks warm and fluffy, would love one right about now with the current cold weather.

If only it were snowing when these pictures were being taken.

I adore Yuki, I only wish I could keep her myself. She’s really hard to find and belongs to my friend who loves Haruhi and Yuki. He now owns one of the most beautiful Haruhi related figures I’ve ever seen. If you ever get the chance to get Yuki for yourself I highly recommend trying!

Handmade Ryoko from Tenchi Muyo Plush

Alter 1/8 Guilty Gear Dizzy

Alter Dizzy was a figure that the moment I saw her I knew there was no way I could live without her. Alter always makes amazing work and I knew there would be nothing they could do to ruin this figure. They have completed such perfection and while it’s taken me a while to bring you this review its because I wanted to give myself time to really contemplate this figure. I didn’t want to think that it was amazing just cause it was new, I wanted to love it because it is awesome.

Having time to really look her over I still see no flaws, her wings are stunning and are just pure perfection. The evil vs good look you have with Dizzy is stunning. I love how her right wing almost seems to be looking over her shoulder as if to give her bad advice and push her the wrong way.

“I’m always watching you”

Her left wing seems to be almost heavenly, it has a glow about it that it didn’t even need extra lighting to give her the feeling of glowing and wisdom, always at her side, to guide and protect her.

A Lovelingly sweet angelic face.

Another thing I adore is how this wing has not only a demonic look but a deconstructed look about him as well. Plus the cape over his face makes him look really evil.

Hair mixed in with her wings! Plus, DAT ASS!

A Stunningly amazing body, I’d kill for her stomach! Need to do more crunches…

I honestly would dare you to find something wrong with this figure. I don’t choose favorites, it’s too hard, but if I had to I know Dizzy would be on that list!

Handmade Yoko Plushie

Just made this Yoko plushie to sell on my Etsy. All the proceeds are gonna go to the new Saber Extra DD.

These are all handmade by my and take a little time to make but by selling them on Etsy I can keep track of which orders come first and then that way you’re all guaranteed your items!

Append Miku Figma

Ah figmas, man they sure are pretty, and when you know how to pose them well they look amazing. Sadly I don’t know how to pose them, however my friend Nox Kreiker does. He has a love for figmas and since he was going to get the new Append Miku figma I told him I would love to review her however that he’d have to help with the posing!

She really is so pretty! I adore the design of Append Miku and while I personally am getting the PVC and the Nendoroid I was bummed I wasn’t going to get to see her in person, but now seeing her in person, while I don’t collect many Figmas I do wish I had one for myself!

She comes with a few faces and two different torsos so you have one with the flap opening up or one without the flap.

Also with ordering this figma you got headphones, I beleive you can use them on other figmas as well.

Miku is well made, and looks so awesome. The issue with this figma my friend had is the lack of a hole in her back for the stand and that it comes with a claw instead. This is what was the main complaint about Fraulein Revoltech, so why take a step back figma? It makes it harder to pose her plus the claw is so fragile it even broke! Good thing my friend has strong glue, however that shouldn’t have been an issue to begin with. I hope that Figma isn’t starting to think about making more figmas with the claw stand, it would be sad to see them take a step back with their designs.

Griffon Hello Kitty to Issho – Minase Shizuku

The moment they showed us preview pictures of this figure at Wonder Festival I knew I had to own her! What’s not to love? Adorable loli in a Sukumizu (Japanese schoolgirl swimsuit) that has Hello Kitty on it! SO much adorableness it’s overwhelming!

Such a sweet face!

She comes with a cute little iPod and hello kitty headphones!

Best part? She comes with a yellow moped that’s Hello Kitty themed! GAH!!

I would totally drive around on this!

Griffon Enterprises did a good job on the pain, sculpt and more, yet as always my biggest complaint is the HUGE base (not pictured) it’s not only an eyesore but makes it hard to display her since it takes up so much space! When you’re like me and your collection is just already taking so much space having figures with large ugly plain bases is a pain! When will Griffon learn!!!??!?!?!?! Minus the base the figure is spectacular! I’m very glad I have her!

Alter Summer Wars King Kazuma & Ikezawa Kazuma

Oh man did I adore summer wars, and when Alter or well Altair announced this set of amazing figures I had to get them! I can always use more male figures!

Ikezawa is such a badass in this figure, even with the emo hair!

He comes with pretty awesome headphones too!

King Kazuma, the champion Fighter of OZ!

Ikezawa does come with a cool laptop that has OZ running.

The base is fun too, it has a small groove in it that lets you coming the two bases to save space! Oh Alter I love you so much for making space saving bases!

I love how the laptop is so well detailed that it even has OZ running!

I adore how his shirt looks so much like clothes and how well it hangs off his body.

King Kazuma is so badass, who knew a bunny could kick so much ass!

Championship belt, boxing gloves, so awesome!

GAH He’s so awesome!

I can’t love these figures anymore than I already do! Also, it’s so awesome how they came as a set and such an incredible price! The figures are made my Altair which is Alter’s section of figures focused for girls, yet badass enough for Guys to want to own. Pretty much they are badass male characters made into figures that both girls and boys would want them!

Umineko Beatrice Cosplay

Just got pictures in from a photo-shoot I did a while back with my friend Tim of Fiverings! I am so happy to finally get these in! i got this cosplay done in time for Anime Expo but being so busy running around for AX Live that I didn’t get much time in the cosplay to get many pictures taken. Those of you who got pictures of me in it were very lucky since i maybe wore it a total of 3 hours at the convention

After Anime Expo I really wanted some decent pictures of the cosplay since I worked so hard on getting it done in time! That’s where Tim came to the rescue and did these amazing photos for me! Thanks again SOOO MUCH!!!

I don’t think I’ve ever had so much fun shooting with someone, while I’m still a little awkward in-front of the camera, I’m so used to being the one taking the pictures, it was nice to know I was dealing with someone who helped me pose and find good angles and such!
