I’ve got some awesome friends! Just the other day hanging out with my musician buddies for a little jam session. Sadly I was just a tag along since I don’t play any instrument, it was awesome seeing everyone rock out on their Guitars and Harmonica. Some really cool guys! Well why do you wonder I bring up Otakus and rocking out and you see this image of two really awesome Dakimakuras? Simple They were Otakus!

At least three of them for sure, one I just met and wasn’t 100% on but either way! We had gone to a friend’s apartment, he’s a huge Saber fanboy, and he’s got some amazing figures as well! Didn’t take any pictures of his room, but maybe next time I will!

Well again, back to these amazing Dakimakuras! My buddy Charles gave them to me! While he was showing off his anime room, I think he was a little caught off guard on how I’m not ashamed of Nude/Lude figures and I’m actually a huge fan of naughty anime figures! He showed me his amazing Saber Lily Dakimakura and I gushed over I how loved it so much and how I wish I had more than just my Kamina. He then proceeded to show me his entire Dakimakura collection and when I began drooling at seeing the adorable Nanoha and Feito pillow cases he handed them to me and said for me to keep them! Now i want to return the favor and I figure i’ll find something amazing that’s Saber related for him! Any ideas?

Loaned figures? Confused? It’s a simple explanation! I’m broke! I know I keep complaining about it! I’m sorry! But my last job had the WORST hours known to man! I do have a new job lined up but I need to catch up on credit cards too! I am however lucky that I’ve got great friends who are willing to lend me figures for review!

Loaned to me by my good friend Cristina Vee! You may have heard of her from her Youtube ValliereVee where she sings Anime songs in English! She’s also a voice actress! She’s done a few roles you may have heard of… Louise from Zero no Tsukaima, Nanoha from Mahou Shoujo Lyrical Nanoha to name a few!

Back to Mio! Mobip to my understanding is Aoshima’s version of the Figma. While I am a fan of Figmas i have to say the quality of these Mobip figures have caught me off guard with the awesome Quality.

I do wish the Guitar had strings. It seems that so many other figures companies add the strings and once you find a new figures that doesn’t have the strings it’s almost a let down.

Not a huge fan of her different faces, I do love this one with the tears streaking down her face, but the difference between the other two faces are just a teeny little smile.

Yep, she does come with our favorite Striped Pantsu!

This is the alternate sad face, and it’s just too similar to the other face. her bag is however cute!

She has about the same posability as a general figma, but the accessories that it comes with seem to be lacking just a little. Especially with the figma coming with a guitar case!

Paint job isn’t that bad, but then for an action figure you never expect top quality.

Her base is very similar to the Figma base, and she only has a hole in her head to keep her up. Unlike that of some newer figmas that figured out how to get it through the back too!

While the only time I’d ever buy even a figma would be if I loved the character or if I were just completing the set. Even with the fact that Yui is my favorite I doubt I would have run out to buy the Mobip version. I would have waited for the Figma version instead. But then that doesn’t mean this figure is at all lacking, she’s really well made and if you’re a HUGE K-On fan then getting your hands on this Mobip figure and the Figma version would be the same as me getting both Revoltechs of Yoko! Which I DO have both version!

I’ve been gone too long! Have you missed me? I Missed you! I haven’t been able to bring you anything new and awesome for a few reasons, mainly lack of new figures. Had to cancel all my pre-orders. No Black Rock Shooter, No Alter Mio, No Megahouse Sheryl. Nothing But With some luck i’ll be able to get back into the swing of things for you!

For now I’m lucky that my older brother likes to spend money, and that him and his friends have become huge Touhou Fans I get first dibs on his figures for review! This set is actually not his or mine, but belongs to a friend of him.

This Super Deformed set is really cute, Remilia Scarlet, the elder sister of the two. Very cute. I do have to admit that I know nothing of Touhou but love the character design!

A bit smaller than Nendoroids but not as small as Petite Nendoroids either.

Not moveable, and more like a gashapon still very cute and well detailed.

I love her color scheme with the blue and pink. Very adorable!

Bloomers are so cute! Did I mention that my cosplay group Cosplaycute.com are planning a Touhou cosplay as per my brother’s request.

Love her vibrate blonde hair! Oh did I mention I’m a blonde now? Dyed my hair and everything! I’ve still got a few more times at the salon before it’s 100% blonde but once I do i’ll post pictures for you!

There are a few seam lines that look bad but then for such a small figure it’s hard to avoid those.

Love her back and the colorful crystals.

It also comes in quite the fancy case, to my understanding this is the main reason why they wanted this figure set. They really liked the box it came in.

A very nice set, not exactly my taste since i’m more of a scaled figure kinda gal. If you’re a fan of Touhou it’s a set to get your hands on, if only for the awesome box it comes in. Hopefully I’ll get more reviews in, I’ll do some of the older figures I have and when i get figures from my brother. He seems to be enjoying figure collecting and having me to help him choose the best of the best He’s enjoying this expensive hobby!

Oh man have I been busy! With a new job, boyfriend, hanging with friends and getting things in my personal life together I feel i’ve been neglecting my site just a tad. Also with my serious lack of funds as of late it’s been hard to keep up with the latest figures. But luckily I didn’t have to pass up on the wonderful Saber Lily.

I’m not even the biggest fan of the game/anime but I do love Saber’s character design and this version of Saber was impossible to pass up!

Such a lovely kickass face!

I do believe she’s the only figure i have that is scowling but still exudes such beauty!

Knowing Good Smile Company, they’ll be smart and release a special limited edition of Saber Lily with a smiling face! It would be hard to pass that up!

Letting my pictures speak for themselves on this post. It’s a little late tonight and while she is such an amazing figure that i could go on and on about but really why gush so much about her when honestly I do believe these pictures speak for themselves! Her pose is stunning, her face is awesome, her paint is flawless. Nothing but perfection from GSC as always. The wait has been long, but it was well worth it for this amazing pvc goddess!

Some figure delays, normally they suck big time since it just means you’ll have to wait longer for amazing figures to come out. But for me, they are great news since I’m still a bit broke from being jobless for so long. I only recently got a new job but even still hours will suck until Black Friday.

Black Friday being the day after Thanksgiving where almost every store in the US has a giant sale and if you work retail that means you are doomed to work that day. Also with my working at The Disney Store we’ll be swamped with parents buying presents for their kids all up until Christmas!

Poor Black Rock Shooter got pushed back to December due to production issues, and Mio got pushed to January. Greats news for me since hopefully by then I’ll be able to afford all these awesome figures I’ve got ordered.

I’ve had Lily sitting on top of my figure display case just begging me to take her picture. I got her a while back pre-loved for a decent price. Only to help get more from the set as I was able to get Kuro no Franco a while back.

I can see why she’s holding herself up, with jugs that big they’ve got to be pretty heavy! Poor girl!

Love the teeny panties and assless chaps!

Her glasses are a cute touch as well but having no glass does bug me since it lacks the acuracym, but then it’s very nice since it doesn’t give me a glare on the photos.

Big boobs, big guns! What’s not to love!

I’d consider cosplaying this, but then no way am I going to feel comfortable showing that much under boob. Sorry boys!

She does have a sweet face, while still being quite sexy.

Nice behind as well, not as endowed as much in the front.

An impulse buy that really was only to get the other figures from the set. I’m still missing Miss Nobody but i’ve seen her around and once I get more money I’ll track her down! She truly is lovely and well made, as expected from Alter.

I still love Yoko, even though I’m broke, i can’t bring myself to cancel my Yoko orders. Finding money whenever I can to keep up my addiction I feel like a crack addict! Except Yoko is much more fulfilling!

While It’s not just Yoko in my collection, I’ve also got a Kamina figure and Simon figure.

Also have Kamina and Simon plushies.

Can’t seem to get my hands on a Yoko Plushie but i’ll find one eventually!

Both Frauleins and the Nendo as well! Still need to get my hands on Dolfie Yoko. But that will either take months of saving on my part, of month of begging the boyfriend to get her for me!

Also still getting the Sega Yoko and Nia figures. While poor in quality I still get them since i’m well… obsessed with Gurren Lagann and not getting them just doesn’t make sense to me. But then when it comes to favorite series of mine all my logic is thrown out the window!

I’m always on the lookout for new Yoko figures but mostly PVC figures. I do get plenty of people e-mailing me asking me if i purchased such and such resin modle of Yoko. I Won’t be going into resin models of Yoko anytime soon since that would be even much more taxing on my poor wallet. I’d love to get some of the figures that are out there but It would maybe be a little too much by then! For now i’m sticking to PVC, Nendos and Action figures.

I’ve been so broke as of late. No Money means no new figures, no new figures means no reviews for you. So while this is the only new figure i’ve gotten in a while, I’ll be going back into past figure purchases and reviewing them for the time being while i build up my funds for new figures. Unless there is anyone out there who would like to send me samples to review!

From my last post, I scraped up the little money I had and got the Miyuki X Sheryl figure. I have a special place in my heart for Sheryl Nome, not only because of my Cosplay. But also because she’s a character I felt I related to.

Miyuki Cosplaying as Sheryl Nome also made me feel a bit closer to her as well!

Looks like she had a good seamstress as well!

For just a prize figure, she really is well made.

A tad smaller than the Alpha X Omega Sheryl Nome, but she looks cute small next to Sheryl.

The glasses do distract a little bit and aren’t removable. If i were Miyuki i’d invest in some contacts for such an elaborate cosplay.

Her Pink hair does work for Sheryl.

Nice base design!

Her face really is just adorable!

I love this figure, well worth the money and I’d love it if more figure retailers took the time like Toylet to get these figures in stock! It’s so sucky for us in the U.S. or even anywhere not in japan to be able to get our hands on these figures!

In case you haven’t heard the news on my twitter, I got Seth Green and the guys from Robot Chicken to help me rub it in on my boyfriend that he ditched me and instead of Going to Long Beach Comic Con he went to hang out with some old friends. I had tickets for him but he had plans with his friends instead. So I decided that I’ll rub it in as much as possible on what a great con he was missing out on! Best way to do this? Get Seth Green to talk to him personally about it!

This really made my day, not only was their panel really funny but they were all really nice with everyone. Here i am with the rest of the Robot Chicken crew that i could wrangle for this last picture.

Also my personalized signed badge by Seth Green, It’s obvious to see what is says and hopefully he’s right! Also quick tidbit, Seth Green ended up helping getting my boyfriend down to Comic Con since he ended up coming for Sunday! So my plan worked! Muwhahahaha!
