Released in 2005, Megahouses Anemone was a figure I’ve always wanted yet could never get my hands on. Ever since I saw Eureka Seven I wanted figures of the three main girls, I got Talho and Eureka but Anemone was so very hard to track down. She’s been top of my list of figures to look for, and when I went to Anime Jungle a few weeks back I finally found her!

Now i’m still so excited to finally get my hands on her, yet part of me is disappointed. I guess it never occurred to me that a figure that is 4 years old might not look as amazing as a figure of today.

Her Skin tone is very pale with barely any shading. He skin is also very glossy, so glossy it makes it look as if her skin is greasy. Now the pale can be understandable not like Anemone had any bit of a tan, but with almost no shading she looks like a zombie.

Her pet thingy, totally forget if they even mentioned his name ever. I just remember she carried him with her from time to time and when someone else tried to pick him up they couldn’t cause he’s very very heavy.

Overall I got her only because I really liked her character. But if it weren’t for that i would never have picked her up. Her overall quality is lackluster and she’ll most likely end up retreating to a corner of my collection never to be thought of again. I’m also very glad i didn’t pay much for her or I’d be much more disappointed in getting her, but since I got her for a steal I have no regrets. Plus it’s nice being able to find a figure I’ve wanted for so long. I just wish my expectations weren’t so high, if they weren’t' I bet I’d love her more. I’ve just been spoiled with amazing figures lately. But thinking about it now, it would have been awesome if they made a figure of her in her plugsuit. Now that would have been just an awesome figure!
