Making her Seifuku was pretty fun and I’m glad I was able to make it just so cute!

At Anime Expo this past weekend, one of the booths had some fun Itashas, one of which belonged to my boyfriend, Kisuka. While walking around the Exhibit hall we bumped into my good friend Maridah in Mirai cosplay and had the cutest idea! Take pictures of Mirai driving the Mirai Car!

Not many pictures as sadly there was not much time, but it seemed to be a hit once she got in the car since everyone was taking pictures! I’m so glad Danny choose Kisuka’s car! When Danny called me to let me know he chose Kisuka’s car, Kisuka was so excited! He plans to keep his car an Itasha for as long as he possibly can! Now I need to make my car an Itasha since I’m so jealous!

We’re doing it again this year! The Indecent Otaku Comedy Show! We’ve got so much in store for you its crazy! Prizes, Prizes and more prizes! Special Guest Danny Choo! Plus a surprise musical guest!

Of course the promo we have up for this year, this show is seriously going to be amazing! As mentioned we’ve got prizes, but since we’re getting such a huge venue to fit over 5,000 people there is no way we’ll be turning people away like last year. Also we’ll possibly be figuring out a way to do online giveaways for the show as well, but for now that’s still up in the air. As mentioned in my last post I happened to just have the luck of being in Paris, France when the Danny Choo meet up was happening! Was mentioning on Twitter how my trip to Paris wasn’t going well when Lucas Aka Lu-k of Mukyaa.com mentioned to me of a meet up that was happening in Paris. I just couldn’t miss it especially since this was the best coincidence of all!

He was a really nice guy and it was awesome meeting him, he had lots of really good advice for people wanting to live and work in Japan. He did a nice little talk that my brother recorded as well!

While it was all very good information not only about how he made it in Japan but also good information on how he learned Japanese, it didn’t really apply to anything I personally needed other than the main message of follow your dreams. As I may be very much into this Japanese pop culture with anime, figures, manga and more, I don’t have a goal of living in japan. My goals are different; get married, have a family, become a successful photographer, travel, and just to live my life o the fullest. It was awesome to see someone who has made his dreams come true and that it isn’t an easy road. I know that to make my dream come true it’ll take hard work but I’m willing to put in the hard work it’ll take!

So many awesome people i also met, was awesome meeting Lucas Aka Lu-k of Mukyaa.com. A really nice guy and we had some really nice conversations while we were there as well. He really made me want to go visit more of France, I’ll have to check out Bayonne one of these days! Thanks to James of StudioSushi to setting up the meeting!

So unless you’ve been living under a rock you’ve heard that Danny Choo linked to me the other day when i posted about my room. Lots of people have been asking me how did it affect my stats. Did it jump up dramatically? or was it still about them same?

I have to say ever since I’ve had a steady stream of people coming in to take a look at my blog. When i had my blog at Dancingqueendq.wordpress.com i had a good amount of views per day. It was steadily climbing and i was getting about 600 views on average a day. Then once i changed over to How a girl figures and Howagirlfigures.com it dropped a bit since i guess wordpress didn’t always link it back to the new URL, then people got the idea and my viewership started to do a steady climb. From 500-600 views a day to 1,000-1,200 a day. But now with Danny linking me it shot up to almost 4,000 views in one day. Even still with that post not on Danny’s front page I’m still getting a ton of hits a day. I guess people just didn’t know i existed. What’s best about Danny linking me isn’t that just that post got read, but since his target readers are my target readers they ended up taking a look around. Not only looking at that post then leaving, but looking at older posts, looking at the Figures section and such. I also have to admit i got my first ever negative comment. More of a troll than anything else this person claimed I’m gay for not having enough boys plastered on my wall… But as Benu from Anime Genesis told me, if someone is leaving negative comments it means your doing something good. And it means that even though they may have hated my blog and my post, the took their time to look around and leave me a comment. Yes it was a terrible comment lacking English and grammar skills. But if i see a blog and i don’t like it i just don’t go back, i don’t leave nasty comments.

As you can tell for my stats when i had just started my blog through my own domain and server the hits were kinda low. But once i started making at least one post a day i got more and more hits a day. But then you see how on the 19th my stats just jumped up like crazy. It’s the best day i’ve ever had on my blog! Even the next few days afterwards my stats have still been pretty awesome.

This is a big time want! I finally started to finish up Seto No Hanayome after Deftoned kept mentioning how amazing it really was. It is honestly really entertaining and fun. It’s a must see, honestly i don’t understand why it wasn’t more popular… Masa san on it is the best really, I’ve been dying for a dakimakura for about forever but i don’t really want to get one with a half naked girl on it, my friends already think I’m weird for having half naked wall scrolls and figures, i think a full body pillow will push them over the edge. If anything I want this to be made into a Dakimakura, Kamina <3.
