Ah figmas, man they sure are pretty, and when you know how to pose them well they look amazing. Sadly I don’t know how to pose them, however my friend Nox Kreiker does. He has a love for figmas and since he was going to get the new Append Miku figma I told him I would love to review her however that he’d have to help with the posing!

She really is so pretty! I adore the design of Append Miku and while I personally am getting the PVC and the Nendoroid I was bummed I wasn’t going to get to see her in person, but now seeing her in person, while I don’t collect many Figmas I do wish I had one for myself!

She comes with a few faces and two different torsos so you have one with the flap opening up or one without the flap.

Also with ordering this figma you got headphones, I beleive you can use them on other figmas as well.

Miku is well made, and looks so awesome. The issue with this figma my friend had is the lack of a hole in her back for the stand and that it comes with a claw instead. This is what was the main complaint about Fraulein Revoltech, so why take a step back figma? It makes it harder to pose her plus the claw is so fragile it even broke! Good thing my friend has strong glue, however that shouldn’t have been an issue to begin with. I hope that Figma isn’t starting to think about making more figmas with the claw stand, it would be sad to see them take a step back with their designs.

Max Factory’s Figma blog just put up some pictures of the new Homura figma. This also means we’ll be getting a Mami and maybe the rest of the gang as well!

Golf club, cute! Is it silly that I love the golf club, not for Homura, but for my Lelouch and Suzaku figmas and have them play golf…?

I’m not a huge fan of Figmas, I love the design but I catch myself not playing with them as much as I’d like. Yet there are the few times when I see one I really like and want one . After watching Puella Magi Madoka Magical I NEED this figma! I also need the Nendoroid but that’s another story!

She looks so cute and sweet!

So it’s not really live, and it’s not really a concert since there was so singing involved, but you can use your IMAGINATION! Here we have Max Factory’s Hatsune Miku Figma. I jumped on the Hatsune Miku bandwagon a little while and now have the figma and the Nendoroid. Soon to have the PVC as well.

I should address the fact that this is my first figma review but not my first figma. I didn’t want to jump and do a review when i knew nothing of other figmas and had nothing to compare them to.

Now my first figma was Lelouch, the followed with Konata, Kyon, Suzaku and now Miku. The quality varies on each figma. I was initially impressed with lelouch’s range of movement and portability. So much so i took him with me to Merida, Meixco.The Konata had some issues with her bangs falling off, and my kyon came with two left arms.

I really was ready to give up on Figmas but then i say a deal for the Wonfes Suzaku Figma, i had to get him and since his quality was just as if not better than Lelouch’s my confidence in figmas rose. I decided to keep my pre-order for this Miku figma since it would also complete my set.

I’m glad i kept that order, since Miku here is really such amazing quality. I find myself playing with her when bored at my desk more than i did with any of the other figmas. I just love her range of movement and how even with joints she doesn’t look like an Action Figure.

Now i mention Action figures since i never was a fan of them. I hate joints, i really hate joints. I don’t know why but they just don’t look good to me, and seeing obvious joints bugs me greatly. But have no clue how Max Factory did it but the joints are barely noticeable to me. Instead of looking at their joints i look at their paint and faces. I love the faces, they bring such life to the figmas.

She just looks so excited to be singing to her adoring fans. She doesn’t look like a doll standing around.

She really looks like a pop idol. It’s so easy to pose her and find something that looks good. That’s another thing i love about the Figma line. No matter what pose it seems natural. Regular action figures can’t pull that off.

She comes with double leeks as well.

I really feel like the Figma line is something i can get behind on. I do still have a few more figmas on pre-order and don’t expect to cancel them anytime soon since i’m still overall impressed with their quality. One thing i notice is how each figma increases it’s quality with each release.

Got my Konata figma the other day. So it’s official, I’m addicted to Figmas. I had tons of fun playing with Lulu but now I’m having more fun playing with both Konata and Lulu. Oh and still no response from the place where i got Kyon.

First thing that happened once i let Konata out of the box. was let her cosplay as Lulu. She had more fun playing withnthe gun than anything else.

Even lulu enjoyed getting into Konata’s seifuku.

Well we decided to go out and get some food, but first we needed to put some gas in my brother’s car. Konata had never put gas in someone’s car so i let her help.

We got to Kokoros which is the local sushi place and it also happens to be my favorite place ever.

Konata was having a little too much fun playing with the food on the table, she was saying something about “GIANT TEA! GIANT SOY SAUCE!” So since she was distracting the other customers she had to be put away.

Then food came, this is the only roll i was able to take a picture of before my brother and his friend devoured them. I love Rainbow rolls since it’s a little bit of everything!

There are two reasons why Kokoros is my favorite sushi place in the area. #1 is this Jumbo Volcano! They serve it to you ON FIRE! You can see a bit of the flame in the middle. My camera sucked when i took the picture and my brother blew out the suhsi before i could take another. But this is so damn good!

And #2 on the list of why Kokoros is my favorite place is this! Fried Tempura Green Tea Ice Cream. SO FREAING YUMMY!

I’ve been super busy with School and work, and most of all my great aunt and helping out my mom. But i’m trying to get back to posting more often like i used to.

Ok so i’m very proud of this I hope you all enjoy my Stop Motion video! I was really inspired the other day when i saw this video and while mine’s not up there just yet in terms of quality i had so much fun i went out and ordered two more figmas to do more videos like this! It’s a parody of Macross Frontier’s Episode 17 Opening. I liked Ranka’s little dance since it’s so cute.

Ok so this is a blatant Filler Post but who cares? This is seriously made of win and awesome! Now i want more figmas to try and make something as awesome as this! Who know Lelouch, Kyon, Itsuki and Light could dance? Technically Light isn’t a figma but this video is still pretty badass!
Oh and for the idiots who will most likely ask… I didn’t make this. Don’t ask em to make more or anything since i didn’t make this to begin with

Lelouch all packed up and ready for his Mexican Getaway! He had to fight with Asakura for her to lend him her bag. She pulled a knife out on him but in the end i think he just used his geass on her… Crazy old lelouch!

While he was excited about his upcoming trip he was also going to miss home.

Caught Lulu sitting around wondering why my dad was taking forever to park the car. I asked him if he was up for the trip since i know he’d miss his lovely ladies.

Lulu then told me not to worry that he’d be alright being away from them for a short time.

Lulu was a bit antsy during the flight, he wanted the window seat but since my dad is claustrophobic he had to take the middle seat between us.

At least he was able to listen to some music on my mp3 player. But he only wanted to listen to one song the entire trip.

As soon as we got to Mexico Lulu was quick to get into the mood! Too bad the sombrero was too big…

“Who needs the Zero Mask when i have this Sombrero!”

Once we got to Mexico he was so excited to see some of the sights! We got to Dzibilchaltun and he was so eager for photos. He’d never seen a pyramid before.

He really enjoyed it here, I think he enjoyed being able to climb up the Pyramid.

We got to the top and boy did he enjoy the view.

Lulu just wouldn’t stop talking about the view. He loved the plants and trees. Who knew that just a little while ago this guy was being all perverted…

Lulu was being a Camera hog and only wanted me to take pictures of him here, I kept telling him we had to go already. My parents were about to leave us…

He just kept saying how the view was so awesome. I got it, awesome view, lets go!

He told me to just go and he’ll catch up with me, so i let him be.

Turns out he had some trouble getting down the pyramid without me. xD

I offered to help but he insisted on doing it himself.

Lulu then told me that he’d just get someone to be his helper during the trip since i was as he said “good for nothing.”

He later found some poor soul soon after to be his Official helper during the trip.

Turns out it was my dad that was the unlucky soul… I think he used his geass on my dad.

I ordered this Strawberry soda and Lulu told me he wanted to try it too.

Only thing is that he couldn’t get the straw into his mouth, must suck to be this small…

Next day we headed to Cancun, he was pretty excited about this trip!

At first he didn’t want to go into the water, he said he’d rather sit around and the enjoy the beach

He did find himself a nice cozy place to sit.

Finally convinced him to go to the water, he didn’t get in but he did get awfully close! He was having fun playing on the rocks!

But then C.C. called him asking him if she could bring her some pizza hut, looks like she forgot he was out of the country…

Next day we headed to Chichen Itza, Lulu got my dad to let him sit up front with him. He also got my dad to let him car surf.

But then he got my dad to let him drive. I was a bit worried since Lulu didn’t have his license.

We were a all a bit afraid for our lives so we got him to just be the lookout for any animals that might cross the road.

We got to Chichen Itza and Lulu met up with some of the locals, he was surprised how short they all were. (what’s really funny is how the locals really are short. I’m 5’4″ and i was super tall compared to them!)

Then Lulu took a quick nap before we reached Chichen Itza. he wanted to buy this hammock but he had no way to carry it with him on the plane back

I think he really enjoyed seeing all these Mayan ruins.

Well that was lulu’s trip. He was sad to go but so excited to get back to his girls. He made me promise him that if i ever go to another place as cool as this that i take him with me. I think i just might take him with me from now on, it was a fun trip with him around.
