Max Factory is making the cutest most adorable Miku I’ve ever laid my eyes on! Mikatan updated her blog with promo pics of the prototype of this figure and she’ll be out for pre-order soon.

She’s based off this illustration by Hiro Kanzaki. We all know just how much I adore figures based of particular illustrations and how you can compare the two to see just how wonderful a job the sculptor did to replicate the art into a 3d form!

Mikatan makes mention of wanting to pinch her cheeks, I can’t but feel the same way!

The tone of pastel green is just perfect for this Miku as well!

I’m in love with the fluttering of her skirt and how it flows so nicely. I’m curious to know what type of undies they’ll give her, i’ve got my fingers crossed for pastel green shimapan!

According  Mikatan this green guy is supposed to be the artist himself! A cute way to integrate himself into the figure and the art as well.

While the Keytar is removable she doesn’t come with these leeks. These leeks are from the Figma miku and were placed there by Mikatan with double sided sticky tape. Still an adorable way to display her as well! I love this figure and she is an instant pre-order! You can never have too many Miku figures!

Been wanting to make Miku for some time now, she was one I wanted to get perfect, took me a few trips to different stores to find the perfect Teal Green for her hair!

She had to have Shimapan as well, so I included some classic Blue shimapan but you can request a different color when you order your own if you like!

Ah figmas, man they sure are pretty, and when you know how to pose them well they look amazing. Sadly I don’t know how to pose them, however my friend Nox Kreiker does. He has a love for figmas and since he was going to get the new Append Miku figma I told him I would love to review her however that he’d have to help with the posing!

She really is so pretty! I adore the design of Append Miku and while I personally am getting the PVC and the Nendoroid I was bummed I wasn’t going to get to see her in person, but now seeing her in person, while I don’t collect many Figmas I do wish I had one for myself!

She comes with a few faces and two different torsos so you have one with the flap opening up or one without the flap.

Also with ordering this figma you got headphones, I beleive you can use them on other figmas as well.

Miku is well made, and looks so awesome. The issue with this figma my friend had is the lack of a hole in her back for the stand and that it comes with a claw instead. This is what was the main complaint about Fraulein Revoltech, so why take a step back figma? It makes it harder to pose her plus the claw is so fragile it even broke! Good thing my friend has strong glue, however that shouldn’t have been an issue to begin with. I hope that Figma isn’t starting to think about making more figmas with the claw stand, it would be sad to see them take a step back with their designs.

After so long of teasing us with pictures Good Smile Company finally put up for pre-order the long awaited Love is War Miku. She is so amazingly lovely I just wish I could get one for myself!

There will be two versions, the version up above that has the large base, and this version that has a much smaller base. While both will have the exact same figure I can only feel that this version is just lacking without the huge speakers!

The regular version is about 6,600 yen the Deluxe version can only be ordered directly from Good Smile Company for a whopping 14,000 yen! That’s not including the 2,000 yen for shipping! Personally as much as I want this figure the price is a little too much for me at the moment, while I could possibly pre-order the regular version it’s just not as fabulous to me as the Deluxe version! The silver lining is my boyfriend ordered the Deluxe version for himself, this just means I’ll keep him around so that way one day our collections can combine and then I’ll own her too! Muwahahahahahahahaha Also that means when she’s released I’ll have a review for you!

What is a Pitamin ball? Why does this Miku look so bad? Well, a Pitamin ball is a silly stress relief toy from Japan. No, not that kind of stress relief… While you can’t stick your junk into this Miku, I can pretty much guarantee you’ll have more fun throwing her against the wall!

As you can see in this video, it shows just how to use a Pitamin ball. Plus for the awesome price of 420yen! (tehe I wonder if they understand why 420 is funny…) It’s a steal! I’ll try my best to get one! She’s made by Checker Support and should be available around August!

At this past Anime Expo 2011 I got some loot while there, while I don’t usually do Loot posts I’m actually really proud of the little bit of anime related merchandise I got this year! First here some cute kitty paws, a tail, an Adipose, Kyubei and CRXThrasher came by and gave me this adorable Mini Dakimakura for Dollfie Yoko!

Stopped by the Level-up Studios booth for the Nyancat shirt, I knew I was going to get this shirt no matter what, I’m so glad they came down to AX so i was able to get one in person! Also couldn’t leave without the Giga Pudding shirt from J-list.

As you can see I adore my Otaku shirts and also got this cute Luka shirt from Kinokuniya and the Official Anime Expo 2011 shirt!

More J-list goodies with the Kyubei shirt. Also the Mikunopolis booth has this adorable Hello Kitty X Miku shirt that I couldn’t live without!

Also got the Kalafina tour shirt and my AX Staff Polo!

I almost never buy fan art at the artist alley, but this year there was some amazing artwork I couldn’t pass on! Plus the good people at Sanshee.com gave me the Fakku poster! Such wonderful people! I can’t wait to see them at AX Again!

Had a new friend Zar come by with this awesome art, he had it where I only saw the Kamina then had me flip it over to see Yoko holding a Hanako Dakimakura, I was so overwhelmed I cried on the spot! I love all of you guys so much and I never expect you to do these things for me and they honestly mean so much to me! I’m going to get it framed!!

The Miku posters I scored at con, I heard later that the Toyota booth had different posters on different days and wish I knew as I would have gone by to get the other posters too!!

Staff get their own customized badge art and of course I choose Dollfie Yoko for mine, I was told it might not be acceptable since she’s a little ecchi but seemed that she got past!

Closer look at my Badge and Lanyard, filled it up with pins as I do every year!

Some pencil boards that I honestly won’t use but only got since it’s Card Captor Sakura merchandise and I adore the series too much to not buy anything legit I can find! Also found this amazing mouse of Snow Miku and that it glows and changes colors! My laptop needed a mouse for use at AX Live so while it was about $65 I’m glad I got it if only for the Miku factor! Also got that adorable new Iphone case for if mine ever breaks on me

Got my Mirai Figma at Kid Nemo as well as I got Danny to sign it!

Also all but the white turtle phone charm are from Anime Expo, two Miku charms, Yoko, Kamina and the cutest Ika Musume!!

I’m really glad of my purchases at Anime Expo this past weekend, I didn’t make very many figure purchases as the figures I really wanted AKA Alter Bounty Hunter Yoko and Max Factory Real Image Yoko weren’t on sale anywhere I’m so sad it’s over but I’m excited for next year! Now to save my money again for next year’s Anime Expo!

Hatsune Miku Orchestra version, based on the cover of the album of the same name. I’m a huge fan of Nendoroids and while the quality of them overall tends to be the same I do have to say I adore some of the improvements made to the line. More and more Nendoroids are turning into “playable” versions where you get joins in the legs and arms and just get different hands. While it does make them more like an action figure and less like a regular figure that you can modify I do like the improvements.

I love this album cover, now we can only hope they also make a PVC of this design! It would be super awesome if they did!

It’s really easy to pose her without the base but the base does make some silly poses much easier.

I love playing with Nendoroids and changing faces with other Nendoroids!

Part of me wants to leave this as her default face.

She comes with two keyboards, just in case you wanted variety or maybe have the Kagamine twins play too!

Also her synth drums, at least that what i think they are, either way an awesome addition to the accessories they’ve given her.

She also has a recorder which is really for Len but I’ve let Miku try her hand at it first! I love my nendoroids and have no favorites, but I do adore this one and it is near the top of the best ones I’ve got in my collection! I feel my Nendoroid collection has come full circle yet It’ll never stop. Full circle since my first nendoroid was the original Hatsune Miku Nendoroid.

The only bad thing about Kid Nemo can be how figures come long after everyone gets their hands on them. I had ordered Miku here through Kid Nemo and just finally got her, but at the same time i’m just so glad i got her! She’s everything i hoped for and more.

Now this may be the last time i use the tinsel for the backgrounds, but then i love how good it looks for the pictures.

I originally got the tinsel for this Miku but felt it looked good for the Idolmaster Miki Hoshii shoot and the Baek Changpo shoot.

Good Smile’s attention to detail always astounds me, just look at her skirt! Oh do i spot a little bit of panty shot?

And her skirt is removable! Very cute green ribbon!

Now the set is complete! Now to get the Kagamine Twins’ PVC, Nendoroid and Figmas and I’ll have myself a little Vocaloid party! I adore this figure, and she’s a must have for any Vocaloid fan or even major figure collector. Having her in my collection is just really awesome now. GSC’s attention to detail never fails to impress me. From the design on her skirt to her sleeves, to the bend in her leg to the 01 on her arm.  Even her nails and the beautiful green color for nail polish. I will also say the way they did her hair was such an awesome idea, it’s made of a hard light plastic so she’s not heavy at all. Which was such a good idea since her hair would have made her very heavy. Not to all figure companies making Yoko figures, make her hair of the same material so it doesn’t weigh her down!

There are certain figures that once in your collection make your eyes pop, make you look right at her and make your collection seem just so much more awesome, Miku is that kind of figure.

So it’s not really live, and it’s not really a concert since there was so singing involved, but you can use your IMAGINATION! Here we have Max Factory’s Hatsune Miku Figma. I jumped on the Hatsune Miku bandwagon a little while and now have the figma and the Nendoroid. Soon to have the PVC as well.

I should address the fact that this is my first figma review but not my first figma. I didn’t want to jump and do a review when i knew nothing of other figmas and had nothing to compare them to.

Now my first figma was Lelouch, the followed with Konata, Kyon, Suzaku and now Miku. The quality varies on each figma. I was initially impressed with lelouch’s range of movement and portability. So much so i took him with me to Merida, Meixco.The Konata had some issues with her bangs falling off, and my kyon came with two left arms.

I really was ready to give up on Figmas but then i say a deal for the Wonfes Suzaku Figma, i had to get him and since his quality was just as if not better than Lelouch’s my confidence in figmas rose. I decided to keep my pre-order for this Miku figma since it would also complete my set.

I’m glad i kept that order, since Miku here is really such amazing quality. I find myself playing with her when bored at my desk more than i did with any of the other figmas. I just love her range of movement and how even with joints she doesn’t look like an Action Figure.

Now i mention Action figures since i never was a fan of them. I hate joints, i really hate joints. I don’t know why but they just don’t look good to me, and seeing obvious joints bugs me greatly. But have no clue how Max Factory did it but the joints are barely noticeable to me. Instead of looking at their joints i look at their paint and faces. I love the faces, they bring such life to the figmas.

She just looks so excited to be singing to her adoring fans. She doesn’t look like a doll standing around.

She really looks like a pop idol. It’s so easy to pose her and find something that looks good. That’s another thing i love about the Figma line. No matter what pose it seems natural. Regular action figures can’t pull that off.

She comes with double leeks as well.

I really feel like the Figma line is something i can get behind on. I do still have a few more figmas on pre-order and don’t expect to cancel them anytime soon since i’m still overall impressed with their quality. One thing i notice is how each figma increases it’s quality with each release.

Pardon these terrible photos, this is just until i have time to do a proper shoot/review.

First off no one told me that no nendoroid has the Hjapan sticker. I didn’t see it when i got it and i began to freak out! Luckily i e-mailed Rin from ~Koi Aichaku~ and he let me know that it was normal! It was like a weight was lifted from my chest.

Can you tell i had way too much fun playing with her?

As i mentioned to Rin, when i opened her up from the box i blurt out loud “OMG she’s so cute!”

This is a really cute version of her, i had so much fun playing with her in this was but it was hard not to play this song in my head…

These set of last photos were inspired by this picture that i’ve seen online, how could i not do the same?

Well in all honesty i was expecting this to be worse. i’m quite pleased with this purchase but i doubt i’ll be jumping the nendo bandwagom and getting them all. i do however know that if they release nendos of characters that i like i will have to get them cause they are so well made and so damn cute!

And as usual i got my Nendo Miku at Kid Nemo!
