It’s no secret that Ikki Tousen is my lest favorite series ever, Ok I pretty much hated the show. I had a few Ikki Tousen figures before but they were not only terrible but not mine so i sold those off a while ago. There are also too many Kanu figures out there, just far too many Ikki Tousen figures at all. But when DirtyBeast on Danny Choo’s Classifieds had posted this sale, I already knew of three I had to get. Had to get Alter Saber Maid, Good Smile Company Nida and Max Factory Mai Shiranui. It was impossible to not get Alter Kanu in there as well.

I had already decided long ago not to buy figures based solely on character but on the figure’s overall quality, pose, face, paint job and more.

While I may not like the show, I have to admit that she’s still a good figure.

So Kanu here has got to be the biggest impulse buy i’ve ever done.

Her overall quality is really good. and i love how her hair curls around her body.

I do like her skirt flips up and flashes some undies yet isn’t completely slutty like most Kanu figures.

She is a castoff figure and you can remove her skirt. You put her torso out of her shirt and remove the skirt that way.

Not anatomically correct but nice shape still.

I really don’t like how she looks while skirtless.

Something about the shape of her undies just doesn’t look pleasing to the eye,

Nice weapon, good details on the dragon but man her butt looks pretty bad there.

Still on the fence about Kanu here, still getting her for $20 makes me not regret her. Yet i still don’t like her character or Ikki Tousen anymore than i ever did. Yet she does look good on my shelf but if i ever did get tired of her it won’t be hard to put her on the chopping block at all. For now I’ll keep her since she still looks pretty good and it is another Alter figure in my collection. I do have to say if this wasn’t an Alter figure i wouldn’t have bothered at all. Do you do that at all? Get a figure when it’s an amazingly good price just cause it’s from a good manufacturer? I knew that no matter what for the detail I’d like her since Alter always does an amazing job on that but still i never really liked Kanu.
