In 2005 when Shuffle first aired there were no good Shuffle figures made, you could argue there are a few but they were all terrible. It took until Shuffle Memories in 2007 was released for a big name like Alter to make an amazing Shuffle figure and Asa here is the lovely result.

Never finisehd watching Shuffle memories, was it good enough to have finished it? Or should i just stay with the Original?

A rushed back story would be that there is a kid name Rin with 5 girls after him. Asa, Kaide, Nerine, Sia, and Primula. Asa is one of the girls that is chasing after him in the anime/game.

The game is actually pretty fun, I played it a bit after i saw the anime to just see what it was all about. It was a bit hard since I can’t read japanese and had to guess on which buttons ot choose each time. Kept getting the Kaide ending but that didn’t bother me since i like Kaide the best.

I do hope that Alter makes more Shuffle figures and goes for Kaide next.

Her Seifuku is one of my top favorite Seifuku. I love the design and it seems like it’d be so much fun to wear!

Simple case that says Shuffle Memories on it. Asa’s supported by two pegs in her leg, doesn’t look like she’ll lean but only time will tell.

Asa was honestly not my favorite girl from Shuffle, Kaide was always my favorite but Asa’s figure form was just too pretty to pass up. I really am so glad she’s in my collection since she’s just so gorgeous. Nothing was overlooked on Asa and the only real defect is they gave her glossy eyes. I don’t understand why they don’t just keep using the matte format for the eyes. It gives them a nice look and it doesn’t give you glare. It was very difficult to take pictures without having the light glare into her eyes. From her dynamic pose, to her beautiful face, to her wonderful paint and amazing shading details. Even the lace on her skirt looks so natural. Alter really is making me take a second look at their work and I might have to start getting more Alter figures just for their beauty as well like how I’ve begun with Max Factory/Good Smile Company figures. I just really do hope they continue with the series and make a Kaide figure.

Edit: looks like lots of people liked the background, i was going to go with a solid color like usual bu i loved the design of her box that has green polka dots and yellow plaid. But the design was far too small to even consider using it as a background. So i decided to make my own out of that general idea and printed it out for this shoot. This is the first time I’ve used anything like this but i think i might do it more often since it felt much more original that just a solid color.
