Got My Eggs and Humpty Lock today! They look so awesome i’m so excited! I was so worried i wouldn’t get them in time for AX and i didn’t want to have to make them myself since i knew it wouldn’t come out well.

I found this on ebay for $72.00 and there was no way I was going to pay that much for that…. But luckily a commenter linked me to a girl in japan who was selling them and for cheap! So i contacted her and bought them!

The thing i was worried about them most then was the fact of what if they don’t fit in the pouch i already made? Well I’ll explain what happened after this…

Each egg comes blank and you have to add the plaid part, it’s a big sticker and is a pain to get on properly.

Inside each eggs is the Shugo Chara, they are pretty but not the best quality, but then i wanted the eggs more than anything so for me they were a bonus!

And each character is removable

Now the best part was one that i didn’t know of, the Humpty Lock glows each time you push a button and have one of the eggs near it.

Now as i said sadly they didn’t fit into the bag i made, so i made another and made it bigger!

I pealed off everything off the old bag and put it on the new one. That way it was easier for me!

And now all the eggs fit inside the bag!

Now officially my Cosplay is finished!

What do you guys think? I’m’ getting nervous about this outfit all of a sudden. I’m quite the perfectionist when it comes to cosplays, so i don’t’ want to look terrible. Can you think of anything i may need to work on for this outfit? Remember I’m getting the Humpty lock and eggs soon.

To remind everyone this is an old cosplay for me now, i did this last year for anime expo ’09. I made the skirt, the bag, the legwarmers and the hair clips. No i won’t be doing commissions for anyone, I won’t make anything for anyone. I got the material at Joann’s Fabric store. I got my eggs from this girl, now sure if she is still selling them but you can try. I got my Wig on ebay and no i don’t remember the seller.

So I finally finished the bag! I’m pretty excited about how it came out! I was going to buy one online but the only place i found it wanted over $80 for it plus shipping. Plus the plaid wouldn’t match with my plaid so i opted to make it myself!

What i did this time was i cut out the shape in cardboard and taped it all together.

Then i covered it all with the plaid material.

I then added the Black parts and some sequens.

And last but not least the Heart logo, the lace, and the Heart, Spade and Clover.

Came out pretty well if you ask me! Now all i have left is the eggs and to cut the wig.

Last time people were asking for a shot of the jacket and this was the best i could do… But hey you can see the armband as well. As for the eggs i found someone online who sells the eggs for a decent price. Ok more like a commenter helped me find it! Thanks FuyuMaiden! So i should have the eggs and the Humpty lock before July!

I had so much fun going through Danbooru looking for an image of a girl with huge boobs. (NSFW)

My boobs are too big, I hate this. I’m cosplaying a loli character and my boobs just look terrible in my outfit. While i’m trying to do some last minute workout routine to hopefully get in better shape by AX time. I’m hoping that my bra size goes down in this time too! I had some family come over a while ago and all we did in the course of one week was eat, eat and eat. I gained some weight and it went straight to my boobs… While i know plenty of people who will wonder why I’m complaining in the first place. When i was 14 i was flatter than a wall, i was begging for boobs. Wishing and hoping and thinking and praying, planning and dreaming for tits that are huge! (bonus points for anyone who can name the song thats from) But once i got my prayer, i was plagued with more problems than ever. Back problems, clothing problems. They are a pain to find bras for, i buy a few bras and then a month or so later they are too small cause GREAT i had another growth spurt and my tits are bigger again! Then i by clothes and the shirts are now designed for flat chested women, so i can’t wear them. And any shirt i find that would be good for someone with huge boobs just looks crazy slutty.

Well that was an interesting rant, i wrote that up a while back when i was having troubles finding a shirt for my cosplay. I went everywhere looking for a dress shirt. I Even tried the mens department but they were far too big for me. But all the womens shirts were terrible, either too short, too see through or they didn’t close up at the boob part. Finally i went with my friend Sarah and went shopping, i found an awesome top for my cosplay, but sadly it was a bit short, i succumbed to it since it was super cheap and of good quality and just told myself that it’ll be fine being a littler short. I was wrong once again but me being so awesome i figured out the way to make me the best shirt possible for my cosplay! I just grabbed a seam ripper and removed the sleeves from both shirts. I had one shirt that the sleeves were too long but the actual shirt was just right, and another that the sleeves were just right but the shirt was too short. So just changed the sleeves around. Now i have the most perfect shirt ever!

I also got the tie which i was super lucky cause it’s been hard to for me to find a red tie and the right tone of red, I kept finding dark red ties, or ties with patterns. I’m just glad this is coming together sooner than later.

Now here is the awesome news! My skirt is complete! My 80 year old grandma was a seamstress and has made clothing her entire life so I decided to ask for her help to make it. Well it turns out the last time my grandma ever made any thing was 5 years ago and she was kinda unsure of how to go about it. But lucky me after a nights rest it all came back to her and instead of teaching me how to make it, she made it all herself in less than a week. It’s an amazing skirt and it fits perfectly! I do wish she would have taught me instead of making it herself but at the same time she sits around all day cleaning the house so this gave her something to do. She is at least very excited that someone in the family wants to learn how to sew and likes it. Since it’s what my grandma had to do to support the family none of her daughters wanted to sew. They all went to college and got degrees and all became teachers. My mom knows how to sew but she hates it and never wanted to teach me. So now that my grandma has someone to pass down all her knowledge she’s been much nicer to me!

To make the skirt i showed my grandma the skirt to the right and said i wanted exactly this but a bit longer as you can see thats exactly what i got and i’m so glad.

I can’t express how much i adore this skirt, i know i’m not only going to be wearing this as a cosplay skirt but as a regular skirt, it’s just so adorable i love it!

I’m so glad that i got the skirt made instead of just buying one, my biggest worry about this cosplay was having the skirt and the leg warmers match! Now the only thing i have left to do is cut my wig, and make my eggs and pouch. I did find an ebay seller selling them but they want $80 for each! So i’m going to make it myself instead!

Cross Shaped Hair pins? CHECK! I got these done tonight, I’m not doing the skirt myself but with help from my grandmother and i got home late today so she was already asleep by the time i got home. So i decided to finish these up and focus on the skirt tomorrow and this weekend. Now all i need other than the skirt is a different shirt with longer sleeves, a tie and them I’m done! Hopefully i won’t be dying of heat in this outfit. But at least I’ll be able to remove the jacket. In my Cosplay last year i couldn’t and i was dying the entire time… The clips were just masking tap that i folded together and then cut, I then painted and then glued them to hair clips that i got at wal-mart. I’m actually really glad at how well they came out.

You’ve seen the Wig, here is the latest thing i’ve finished up. I finally went out and bought the material to make the skirt and leg-warmers. I finished up the leg-warmers just 3 minutes ago. I love how they came out! I know it isn’t the exact color scheme of Amu’s Plaid Skirt/Leg-Warmers but it’s all i could get my hands on . I do still really like how it’s coming out so far! Expect more posts like this for the time being, since i’m really focused on finishing this up. I just came back from a friends house and she already has the majority of her cosplays finished in time for AX! You’re Going to look GREAT Sarah! I’m super jealous she has some awesome Goth/Loli outfits made, and while i’ve never been a fan of the style she’s making me really like it and i’m considering doing a lolita outfit as well @.@! We did a small photo shoot at her house today and if she lets me maybe i’ll post a few later!

Those of you who may read my blog often may have noticed that i just recently purchased the elusive Max Factory 1/8 Naru on the Ebays for $162 (not including Shipping). While it was quite painful but the thought of owning her was just so awesome i couldn’t say no, until my brain came back to me.
WHAT WAS I THINKING? I mean hell i want this figure and badly, but if you even looked at the site it didn’t even come in its original box! I asked the seller some questions about it’s validity and she claimed that they don’t even make bootlegs of this pvc… ORLY? Cause I’ve seen my fair share of this figure on eBay as a bootleg, as well as on Yahoo Auctions Japan! The last time i paid out of my ass for a figure was when i bought the E2046 1/7 Haruhi Bunny, and even still that was painful. But that was a resin kit, someone took their time and effort to make her amazing! This is a PVC figure! Mass produced and not worth the $160+ price tag. I am however willing to pay $100 for her, but anything over that is just highway robbery! So i did what i do best… I e-mailed the seller and asked to retract my bid, offer it to the next highest bidder and she gets her money back! Even if the next highest bidder doesn’t want it, not like she won’t be able to re-list it on eBay and sell it for about the same or even more. I’m not the first dumb person in the world to ever bid really high for a figure and i won’t be the last. I has also bid for the Kotobukiya Shouko san figure, since she was so cheap… but hell there are a million bootlegs of that figure and I’m not risking it again with this seller. Plus I wasn’t really interested in this figure in the first place, she would have been more fluff for my ever growing collection. What ever happened to listening to my own advice of Quality > Quantity! Now that I’ve canceled both orders I feel so much better. But then the impulse shopper in my keeps looking at eBay auctions and KidNemo for new and exciting deals…

Lucky me there aren’t many figures out there that I HAVE TO OWN! So i’m able to cut back and save my pennies for a rainy day. And this also gives me more money to splurge for my Shugo Chara Cosplay.

Yes I’m considering cosplaying out favorite Cool and Spicy Loli, Hinamori Amu. I wanted to do something thats not really well known just yet, But something that hopefully by the time AX comes around people will be able to figure out who i am. Now i wasgoing to dye my hair pink for an experiment to see if i wanted it or not. But right now i’m job hunting so i don’t think it would make the best impression if i came in with bright pink hair… So i opted for an easier way to see if i’ll like pink hair on me, I bought a wig!

I really did like both the songs on this album. I’ll have to thank deftoned for making me listen to more Mizuki Nana. But then I would have gotten this single anyways since I’m loving Shugo Chara. I bought the first two manga, and I’m watching the anime as well. I’ll have to say that the pacing for the anime isn’t great but if the rumors are true and it’s going to be a 52 episode series then pacing won’t be an issue much longer I hope… At least in comparison I think it’s cute how they add extra to each character’s story in the anime.

Well back to the single, I like both songs very much but i’m drawn to Blue moon a bit more than Meikyuu Butterfly right now. Don’t get me wrong I love Meikyuu Butterfly but I think I love Blue moon a little bit more, I always liked well sung slow ballads. Now how I’m wondering is when they are going to insert the concert into the series itself. In the manga Mizuki Nana’s character is an idol and the gang go to one her concerts. So i’m eager for said concert but i’m wondering how they going to shift the story into the concert. Utau hasn’t had more than 3 lines in 10 episodes, are they just going to throw her in? All in all I do very much like this single and i’m hoping for more good things from this series!
