Went to the San Jacinto Mountains today to go enjoy some snow and man did we have a blast! First off to get there you drive to Palm Springs then go up a mountain, park and take the Aerial Tram to get to the top of the mountain. If you live in So-cal i really recommend going cause it’s so much fun and the tram is totally cool!

Living in Southern California is great since not only do we get great weather and have Disneyland and the beach so close, but it’s not a far drive to get to Snow as well.

Even still since my mom hates snow and my dad doesn’t really go anywhere without my mom we never get to go and play in the snow, so since my aunt from Los Mochis is over to visit we decided to take her to see snow. Since if you’ve ever been to Los Mochis you’d know it’s always freaking hot there.

I had a blast and played in the snow like a little kid like crazy! I just jumped into the snow and rolled around pretty much!

I do look a bit stuffy, i was wearing 3 shirts, 2 sweaters and 2 jackets. Let only my jeans for the bottom, so i was warm up top but freezing in the legs and heiney area!

Good thing i wore my boots but even though playing in the snow they did get soaked soon enough

It’s obvious I had a great time, even though at a certain point i was soaked to the bone i was still jumping into the snow and playing.

Now i’m just covered in snow! Once we got out my top was good since my first jacket was the only thing that got wet, and my jeans dried quickly. Yet my socks were soaked, thank goodness my aunt brought two pairs of socks so she took off her top pair and gave them to me.

Such a beautiful scenery, i would have loved to go more into the snow but my shoes were so soaked that i couldn’t walk anymore, next time i’m getting proper snow boots.

It was awesome playing in the snow but i don’t think i could live in this kind of cold for months on end. I love my warm California weather.

But it was so beautiful up here, the sky was so clear, the air was fresh. It’s nice to get away and enjoy the outdoors.

Just so amazing how pretty the snow looks on all the trees, makes me want to go back already just seeing these picture.

I love seeing these mountains with snow on them, I just want to go back to the snow already! Maybe once my friend sarah gets a day off i’ll drag her up here with me and we’ll go sledding!

Long way down

The side was all covered in snow that they did close off tons of trails cause they had too much snow.

This really was an awesome trip, I for sure am gonna be doing this again. Being so close to the snow and not going is just silly. Especially since I’m so close there is no reason to not go back. I also did a nice little photo shoot that will be posted tomorrow, so be sure to check back for that. So how;s the weather where you are? are you stuffed and tired of snow? Are you actually in the middle of a heat wave? Do you never get snow? We never get snow at our actually house it’s nice to know that i’m not that far from a snow day.
