At this past Anime Expo 2011 I got some loot while there, while I don’t usually do Loot posts I’m actually really proud of the little bit of anime related merchandise I got this year! First here some cute kitty paws, a tail, an Adipose, Kyubei and CRXThrasher came by and gave me this adorable Mini Dakimakura for Dollfie Yoko!

Stopped by the Level-up Studios booth for the Nyancat shirt, I knew I was going to get this shirt no matter what, I’m so glad they came down to AX so i was able to get one in person! Also couldn’t leave without the Giga Pudding shirt from J-list.

As you can see I adore my Otaku shirts and also got this cute Luka shirt from Kinokuniya and the Official Anime Expo 2011 shirt!

More J-list goodies with the Kyubei shirt. Also the Mikunopolis booth has this adorable Hello Kitty X Miku shirt that I couldn’t live without!

Also got the Kalafina tour shirt and my AX Staff Polo!

I almost never buy fan art at the artist alley, but this year there was some amazing artwork I couldn’t pass on! Plus the good people at Sanshee.com gave me the Fakku poster! Such wonderful people! I can’t wait to see them at AX Again!

Had a new friend Zar come by with this awesome art, he had it where I only saw the Kamina then had me flip it over to see Yoko holding a Hanako Dakimakura, I was so overwhelmed I cried on the spot! I love all of you guys so much and I never expect you to do these things for me and they honestly mean so much to me! I’m going to get it framed!!

The Miku posters I scored at con, I heard later that the Toyota booth had different posters on different days and wish I knew as I would have gone by to get the other posters too!!

Staff get their own customized badge art and of course I choose Dollfie Yoko for mine, I was told it might not be acceptable since she’s a little ecchi but seemed that she got past!

Some pencil boards that I honestly won’t use but only got since it’s Card Captor Sakura merchandise and I adore the series too much to not buy anything legit I can find! Also found this amazing mouse of Snow Miku and that it glows and changes colors! My laptop needed a mouse for use at AX Live so while it was about $65 I’m glad I got it if only for the Miku factor! Also got that adorable new Iphone case for if mine ever breaks on me

Got my Mirai Figma at Kid Nemo as well as I got Danny to sign it!

Also all but the white turtle phone charm are from Anime Expo, two Miku charms, Yoko, Kamina and the cutest Ika Musume!!

I’m really glad of my purchases at Anime Expo this past weekend, I didn’t make very many figure purchases as the figures I really wanted AKA Alter Bounty Hunter Yoko and Max Factory Real Image Yoko weren’t on sale anywhere I’m so sad it’s over but I’m excited for next year! Now to save my money again for next year’s Anime Expo!

The Loaned Figures series continues! This time it’s a figure that I must get my hands on! A figure that even with my obsession of Yoko I was apprehensive on getting her myself but all those worries have melted away with seeing her in person!

Real Image Yoko by Max Factory, a figure that i saw and said YUCK! I didn’t like her face, her body proportions at all! I felt that i might get her and have her in the background of my wall of Yoko figures.

Yet seeing her in person I’m blown away completely! I feel that I just didn’t give this Yoko a chance when she really deserved a chance from me!

I first felt her face was awkward, but now seeing her in the flesh, her eyes are my favorite part! They just are so bright and so sexy! Something just makes you want to look at her and nothing else!

The glasses look amazing and you change it out by changing out her hair piece, which is good so that way you don’t just lose a little piece!

I also have to say her body is killer! While it would obviously have to be since she’s Yoko, the real life proportions make her look even better!

Makes you feel that this is what someone would look like if they cosplayed her well!

Very nice under boob for the boys!

Love how she holds the gun! Also love how you don’t have to put the gun in her hands, I’ve broken my fair share of guns trying to get them into the right place!

I definitely need this Yoko for my Yoko collection! She’s so stunning and amazing and for sure a MUST GET for any fan of Yoko!

Of course #14 in my quest to own all the Yoko figures I can possibly get my hands on. The Lovely Movic Space Yoko, typical Movic quality, strange body proportions, paint splotches, weird seam lines. Really the only redeeming feature on this figure isn’t even the figure herself but the Bike she’s on.

The Stickers are a bit confusing and there aren’t any instructions on placement, i got the sticker placement from the original image the figure is based on.

At least the figure is true to the image, except on how she is facing the wrong way.

This is for sure another figure i would never had bothered getting if it were another character. The price was outrageous and for such a mediocre figure it’s highway robbery to charge to much. Plus she’s not a 1/5 at all, more like a mix between 1/8 and 1/7 if you honestly ask me. however with all my complaints i still love her, with my all complaints i still love this figure since it’s Yoko. I have to admit I’m fully 100% biased with these types of figures, but i can honestly say that if you are a yokofancitc like i am then go ahead and get her, the bike alone is worth it. If you are just a casual fan there are much better Yoko figures out there. Such as the Lovely Gift Yoko and the Stunning Alter Yomako Sensei.

Lucky number 13 in quest to own all Yoko Figures. The truly lovely Yomako Sensei and Alter’s first Yoko figure to be released. Amazingly detailed and practically flawless this is a truly a beautiful Yoko incarnation.

Yomako Sensei, the kind teacher, who hides her secret identity of being the amazing Yoko who helped defeat Lord Genome along with the Dai Gurren Dan.

Behind her glasses and unrevealing outfit lies a woman who is strong and oozes sexuality. To hide herself within the character of Yomako Sensei, it shows you that Yoko does not see herself as a sexual being but would rather be a normal girl in normal situations and live a normal life.

Sadly this is not the case for the lovely Yoko and we all know who she is what she is truly capable of. Characters like Yomako Sensei are what truly make me love the series and what make me admire Yoko as a character as well.

While form fitting the outfit does suit Yomako Sensei as it covers everything but then is also very Yoko like in how it’s also quite sexy.

Love the detail in colors Alter used. Alter tends to use very neutral colors and while the character may call for vibrant the colors always seem somewhat dull but they really do work for Yomako Sensei.

The slit in her skirt is also such a Yoko thing to do but then if it didn’t have tht slit it would be a bit difficult to walk wearing a skirt like that without a slit.

Alter’s Yomako Sensei is the first Yomako Sensei figure to be released, truly for it to be the first it’s one of the most amazing and will be truly difficult to top in the future. There are the two new Wave Yomako Sensei figure that ill be released but I honestly doubt they’ll even be able to compare to Alter’s wonder and beauty. I’ll still be the one to get both of Wave’s new version.

Got a new Yoko in the mail today, it’s Gift’s Yoko and she is just stunning. She’s #12 in my ever growing army of Yoko figures, with no stopping in sight. I also have to say that as of now of all the Yoko figures i own i think this Yoko is my new favorite!

Not only is shequite large at 1/5 scale, but she is well proportioned as well for being such a large scaled figure.

This Yoko might be my biggest figure to date. When i compare her to the 1/5 Movic Yoko i notice how that Yoko’s legs are quite long for her body and she isn’t as proportioned as this lovely Yoko.

The paint is absolutely flawless and there are absolutely no hiccups on her paint wise.

Also love the tone of red they’ve given her for her hair. Many Yoko figures tend to have a more pinkish tone in their hair. While this lovely Yoko had a more deep red tone of red that fits her original design.

Very Nice, High Five! Her Yoko-oopai also are very well designed and look more like how boobs look like in real life. My complaint with Movic’s yoko saggy boobs are that even though a woman with breasts that big would get saggy, a 14 year old wouldn’t have saggy boobs. She’s have nice perky ones since she is so young! Trust me on this, I’m a girl! I’d know!

Of original Yoko in her normal attire pre-timeskip i’d have to say so far this is my favorite figure. There are still plenty more Yoko figures to go around! Space Yoko, Swimsuit Yoko, Yomako Sensei, Bounty hunter Yoko, maybe even streetclothes yoko if we’re lucky?

I’ve had plenty of people ask me which is my favorite Yoko, and i’m gonna have to say it’s this darling girl. She’s quite large and a bit pricey but absolutely worth every penny. It’s figures like this that make me adore what i do and collecting figures as a whole. When you get something as amazing and dazzling as Yoko, it’s worth all the money spent! Don’t have a Yoko yet? This is one to get!

Such a day! Went to my brother’s place to take some pictures, but he got in a pissy mood and kicked us out. So my dad was so mad he decided to take us to the beach, which was very good since I was planning on doing a shoot with these Yoko figures at the pool and instead got the beach! Which is really just so much better than a silly pool!

Of course i have both versions of this Yoko figures, first we are starting with the regular edition of the Wave Swimsuit Yoko. I was just so excited when they announced the PVC of this figure. I always loved the resin kit they made of her and to find out that I could own her myself in PVC form i was just super excited!

Such a cute face and I adore this pose! It’s a nice sculpt and while there are noticeable seam lines since ti’s Yoko I’ll forgive it.

This figure isn’t all that great compared to regular figures. If she weren’t Yoko i might not like her, however she is Yoko so I love her!

I of course was going to get both, but if you ask me to choose I’d say Limited, I adore the tan lines. It seams so much more realistic since there is no way for her to walk around everywhere in her regular skimpy attire  and not have some form of tan lines.

I’m not entirely happy with this shoot, I was in a bit of a hurry since my parents were hungry and it was cold and I only noticed once it was too dark and too late that I really only took these from one angle. You can’t really see much and it frustrates me. I’ll most likely go and re-shoot these so you can see much better angles on these lovely Yokos. I also didn’t realize the settings were changed when my brother’s friend had played with my camera and the ISO was set at a terrible setting for this kind of shoot. I have s habit of leaving my camera exactly where i like ti and then someone changes it and i forget to check and change it back. >_< Otherwise you’ll have to take my word that these both Yoko figures are simply wonderful. Now you do have to take in full consideration how biased I am towards Yoko. So minor flaws that would be pointed out and criticized in normal figures go overlooked when it comes to Yoko. If you are looking for a Yoko Swimsuit figure she’s the one to get. If you are looking for Yoko in General there are a few other choices you could get that would be better. Or if you are just as die hard a fan as I am then you must ow these two!

She’s gorgeous, she’s amazing, she’s sexy and wonderful. Yet no way can I pay 66,000 yen for her. I need to win the lottery, or find me a really rich man.

While i never wanted a Dolfie before, the moment i heard of this amazing Yoko Dolife i knew i had to have her. I don’t have the money to make the pre-order and hopefully I’ll be able to find someone later who sells her and while I’ll pay much more at least maybe I’ll have the time to save up. Unless there is a kind soul out there who is generous enough to buy a poor girl like me this amazing Dolife. She would be the perfect addition to my Yoko Army and it feels like i’ll be missing a critical part of the Collection if i don’t have her. Lets hope things turn around and i can afford her somehow soon. Pics from Dolife Blog there are also pictures of the Nia Dolife, but something seems very off. While her eyes are perfect they don’t seem to work on her. Yet Yoko looks just amazingly delicious! You can order your own Yoko at either the Volks International site or Volks USA. Oh and if anyone decides to buy Yoko for me, i might be temped to marry you! Since you’d have to be rich!

Showing off my Gurren Lagann figure collection that i have so far. So far the count is Eight Yokos, One Kamina, One Simon/Lagann, and two Kotobukiya Models. It’s still not as epic as it should be but i do have more coming, with 11 Yoko’s pre-ordered and 2 Nia figures.

I get people linking me different Yoko figures and asking me if I’m going to get them, so I decided to clear it up a bit. While I love Yoko I won’t be getting any resin kits from E2046.com or gashapons. I try and get any figures that are Scaled PVCs and if they are Japan only now that I’ve discovered Tenso.com looks like I’ll be able to get my hands on more Yoko figures.

I’ve done a review of everything shown here other than the Kotobukiya Models and the Kaiyodo Fraulien Revoltech.You can find all my reviews here. I might do a review later of the Fraulien Revoltech, but not the Models since those need to be painted and I can’t paint at all sadly… While i’m still getting Yoko figures I’m still up for getting other characters. Of course anything Kamina, Simon, Dary, Nia anyone really! I’m a sucker for my Gurren Lagann Merch!

My newest Yoko added to my army of Yoko figures. She’s #8 and i had to rank them all she’d be #6 just barely surpassing the Fraulien Revoltech and Konami Yoko. Now that i don’t like the Revoltech, but then i’ve never been a huge fan of jointed figures and the base pisses me off and doesn’t hold he right so that knocks her down a few places. Maybe the Movie Fraulein revoltech will change my mind…

I was planning this whole post talking about how i was growing tired of Yoko and that this would be my last Yoko and that I’d cancel all other Yoko pre-orders I have. But then it was a bit too late to post it so i decided to be serious and not joke! Well I have to admit I’m full biased when it comes to Yoko. If it were any other character I would have passed and not have bothered, but this is Yoko so I needed her and had to add her to my ever growing Yoko army. If you are truly a huge fan like myself then I’d search the internet for her, but if not? Then don’t bother since there are so many other amazing Yoko figures that have either been released or are going to be released. Also she came with a bullet, but I dropped it during this shoot and lost it I’ll most likely figure out a way to make another for her to hold.
