Oh more Touhou for you all! I’ll try to mix it up for the next review and have something non-Touhou to review for you all! For now it’s Flandre Scarlet, and she is stunning! I adore this figure! She’s got to be my favorite of the entire Griffon set of Touhou figures.

Adore her face! I love the fang she has is so cute! I also adore how they made her hair so wavy and pretty!

Her wings are also just soooo pretty!

I love the colorful parts on her wings, no idea what they are! But i adore them!

Ohh Bloomers! so much cuter than panties! who needs Panties? We girls should all switch to bloomers! Who’s with me?! hehe

Love her red eyes as well, so vibrant and so adorable!

I know she’s crazy, but she’s cute too! Plus what girl isn’t a little bit crazy?

Adore the fluttering of her skirt in the wind!

Flandre is stunning, however it’s not just the figure I love but her overall design but we have to give credit where it’s due and that’s to the designer of the original game and character. I adore Flandre and I really feel this figure does so much for her and really is just so cute! There are few figures that I see that i wish were in my own collection and Flandre is in there for sure.

Have you missed me? Oh I’ve been ever so neglectful of you all and I feel terrible because of it! My last post was over a month ago! I guess some things have just been getting in the way lately of me having time to really sit down and put up new content and reviews for you all! Hopefully however I’ll be getting back into the groove of writing up reviews for you all!

Here we have Izayoi Sakuya from Touhou Project. She’s the combat version so not from the 1/8 version of the figure set that has been released but a new cooler version of these figures in a combat style pose.

Love the vibrant red eyes, how it contrasts so well with her hair color and her overall color scheme.

For being the “combat” version I’m surprised she isn’t in a cooler style combat pose. She seems maybe ready to fight but not really in the fight yet, I’d love to see a cooler pose, as in maybe in the middle of an attack, maybe already attacked. Like perhaps having some clothes torn off, a more aggressive face and just overall more “Action-y.”

I do however adore the base and clock detail, would have been even better if it were a working clock!

The blade detail looks so amazing, also love the fluttering of her sash that comes from her bow.

Closer look at the detail of her blades, they look just so cool, and ever so deadly!

Such a serious face but then partly blank if you asked me, she seems just ambivalent to the idea of fighting, instead of looking angry and having a reason to need to fight.

Sakuya is a loaner figure from my brother, so while I wouldn’t have gone through the trouble of purchasing her I do adore her. She is a figure that after seeing her I’d love to have my own. She is so stunning and is really a piece that just attracts the eye. Sitting on the shelf in my brother’s apartment my eye is just drawn to her and I just end up looking to this figure first. Truly a figure that should be in any Touhou fan’s collection, she’s amazing and I don’t have many complaints!

So it seems that I’m reviewing figures in themes as of late. How do you guys like it? Should I maybe mix them up a bit or are we liking the idea of themes? I’ve got plenty of Touhou figures to review but then I also recently got a batch of more One Piece figures for you, would you rather I finish these up then the One Piece or should I just mix them up however? I’m enjoying the themes, keeping figures grouped together that normally would be! Well for now It’s more touhou with Alice Margatroid!

The touhou world is a bit confusing to me, It’s so well detailed and each character has such a long history to them, I figure I’ll forgo explaining the teeeny bit I know from what my brother explained and I’ll just leave this Wiki for you!

For the figure itself Alice is very cute, I wonder if her design is based of Alice from Alice in Wonderland at all with the blue dress and blonde hair.

To my understanding this is Hourai, some form of a doll with her that she uses for attacks I think. She’s very cute and reminds me of Reinforce from Nanoha, at least in this figure form she reminds me of the Reinforce that comes with the Alter Hayate.

Love the color combination, it’s very pleasing to the eyes.

She also comes with a book, no idea what she uses it for.

It really is detailed really well, but you can see that the sculpting oh her fingers had a few hiccups and how her middle finger has a few lunps, nothing too bad but I noticed it in these photos.

Some adorable bloomers, and I wonder is she supposed to be floating or flying somehow? Her feet aren’t really “touching” the base.

I love her flowy hair.

Not much to say about Alice, she’s a bit plain. She’s cute and pleasing to look at, well detailed and overall a great figure. Does she stand out sitting on my shelf with the other figures waiting to be reviewed? Not at all. Would I purchase her not knowing what series she’s from or anything of her background? Not really. But if I were a HUGE Touhou fan would she be a part of my collection? You betcha! She really does have a cute face and if I were getting the whole set It’d be a crime not to include her with the rest of the bunch!

Gfit reimu, a figure that I now own! Oh my goodness! can you believe it? I actually got a figure! Ok so it’s been a while since I’ve been able to get a figure and even still the latest figures I’ve gotten where gifts from my brother, Reimu is no exception. He’s collecting all the Griffon Touhou figures so you’ll be seeing all of those fairly soon!

I convinced him that this Gift Reimu was just too pretty to pass up but he’s not convinced so I get to keep her! Hooray!

While I’ve never played Touhou I know that Reimu is very pretty and I’ve always liked her character design, heck if I had the normal funds to be buying figures I would have bought Reimu anyways because she’s just so cute!

I love the pose with the feet pointing inwards very innocent and cute that way!

She has just the sweetest face and a very cute smile!

Love the detail of the swirlies in her ribbon and on her collar, also love the bright contrasting yellow of her scarf to go with the rest of her red dress!

She’s got a cute Ying Yang base which while a little plain isn’t too plain compared to the Griffon Touhou figures and also i love how it’s small so it won’t take up too much space!

No panties but bloomers! Very cute touch, nice difference to see bloomers and not crazy barely there panties.

I LOVE Reimu! She’s really my kinda figure, not too sexy, but cute. While I’ve never had a problem with sexy I realize i have a soft spot for cuter innocent looking figures. Maybe it’s because I’m a girl but i just really feel much more comfortable with cute figures. But then I also love my badass female figures too,who doesn’t love a woman who can kick ass? So overall with Reimu, I think she’s amazing, my brother is a huge fan of Touhou and really only gave her up since He’d rather just have the entire collection through griffon and not more than one character but I’d say go for it! She’s really lovely and so well made, but then the track record Gift has left us so far has been nothing but amazing work!

My brother is a HUGE Touhou fan so of course he had to get his hands on these awesome Griffon Enterprises Touhou Project figures. First review up is Marisa, I’ve also got a Reimu figure so expect her review up soon!

Love her outfit, love the big hat and the bloomers! Her character design is just so adorable!

She’s really well made and there is a huge jump in quality from these figures to my older Eureka Seven figures from Griffon.

They’ve really upped their game and I gotta say that once I can get the funds to start collecting figures again I’ll be keeping an eye out for Griffon figures.

Her mouth isn’t as nicely detailed as i’d like, She does have some issues there but then open mouths can be hard to master.

Her pose as well is very cute and I love how she holds her broom.

Very nice shading with her clothes.

The bloomers are a nice touch instead of having just teeny panties.

Great detail on the broom.

Love how the base has her name, The plain bases bug me but the name tag gives it something special.

A truly lovely figure that any Touhou fan would love to have in their collection. My Hint of the day is to check out AmiAmi.com They’ve got her up for pre-order

I’ve been gone too long! Have you missed me? I Missed you! I haven’t been able to bring you anything new and awesome for a few reasons, mainly lack of new figures. Had to cancel all my pre-orders. No Black Rock Shooter, No Alter Mio, No Megahouse Sheryl. Nothing But With some luck i’ll be able to get back into the swing of things for you!

For now I’m lucky that my older brother likes to spend money, and that him and his friends have become huge Touhou Fans I get first dibs on his figures for review! This set is actually not his or mine, but belongs to a friend of him.

This Super Deformed set is really cute, Remilia Scarlet, the elder sister of the two. Very cute. I do have to admit that I know nothing of Touhou but love the character design!

A bit smaller than Nendoroids but not as small as Petite Nendoroids either.

Not moveable, and more like a gashapon still very cute and well detailed.

I love her color scheme with the blue and pink. Very adorable!

Bloomers are so cute! Did I mention that my cosplay group Cosplaycute.com are planning a Touhou cosplay as per my brother’s request.

Very cute batwings as well.

Love her vibrate blonde hair! Oh did I mention I’m a blonde now? Dyed my hair and everything! I’ve still got a few more times at the salon before it’s 100% blonde but once I do i’ll post pictures for you!

There are a few seam lines that look bad but then for such a small figure it’s hard to avoid those.

Love her back and the colorful crystals.

It also comes in quite the fancy case, to my understanding this is the main reason why they wanted this figure set. They really liked the box it came in.

A very nice set, not exactly my taste since i’m more of a scaled figure kinda gal. If you’re a fan of Touhou it’s a set to get your hands on, if only for the awesome box it comes in. Hopefully I’ll get more reviews in, I’ll do some of the older figures I have and when i get figures from my brother. He seems to be enjoying figure collecting and having me to help him choose the best of the best He’s enjoying this expensive hobby!
