So i’ve had this model for a while and thought hey might as well take pictures of it. There aren’t enough reviews of this out in the blogosphere that i know of so i thought hey it’ll be fun.
First off please forgive me and my lack of story telling. I’m a terrible writer so i hope the pictures speak more than I could…
Hey guys I’m Simon! This is my Lagann, we like to dig and climb and fight giant beast men. Today we went for a walk but we got stuck in this ditch and i can’t seem to get out.
As you can see it’s not that high but the walls aren’t good for climbing.
I tried to use the drills to climb…
…But it was just didn’t work.
We ended up falling and pretty bad too.
Then we gave it one more try!
Instead of trying to climb we decided to just do what we do best! Dig our way through!
After some hard work and some tough drilling…
…We made it to the top of the mountain!
Now to just rest and relax!
All silliness aside it’s a good model, I’m not the typical Model buyer so i can’t really judge it since i haven’t seen many others. But being the Huge GL fan that i am i had to own this. I’m also going to be trying my hand at Building Models and get the rest of the GL family. I Will say it’s really detailed an it comes with lots of little things to play with. Two sets of hands, drills, two faces, and Simon. It also comes with a Black base with is awesome since it helps to make some awesome poses. While it’s possible to pose him without the base it’s a pain in the ass. For any die hard fan of GL this is a must have, but for a casual fan this might need a bit more consideration since the price is a bit steep.

I think this came out rather well, the lighting was pretty nice and while it took me some time to pose Lagann it was a fun shoot and i think that this shoot is one of the best i’ve done!

Agree, that the ligthing is quite nice, first 3 and last 2 photos have good lighting, got sun but not too strong.

Very nice model. I’ve been reading the blog for a while, and you always put and say all this cool things about Gurren Lagann, so now… after watching the 1st episode i got hooked ^^ .
Its just that the animation is sooooo good, and i don’t know, there’s so many other things that make this show awesome. I’m now at episode 9 (pretty sad couple of episodes T_T) i think im gonna pull an all nighter and try to watch it ALL!
