I’ve been waiting so patiently and i finally got my Dakimakura! Took a bit of time but their were some problems with the actual factory but i got it in one piece and in great condition so i’ve got absolutely no complaints. When i found out about this seller who does custom dakimakuras I was a bit apprehensive. What if the quality is terrible? What if the picture looks bad on it? What if they are just out to rip me off? But in reality i was so wrong. The seller was so kind to me since i didn’t have an eBay account at the time and i couldn’t get one. we did the transaction outside of eBay but kept me updated about the status of my Dakimakura every step of the way. The overall quality of this dakimakura is astounding. I had seen some before and in all honesty i expected this one to be a bit bad, i expected it to be more like a regular pillow cover than a full fledged dakimakura. I was so blown away once i received it. It’s so soft and the quality of the image was not lost on the transfer at all. I know for a fact that I’m going to be purchasing more from this seller in the future and that this seller’s work is really quite the real deal.
Another thing i was very impressed with was the zipper. I knew some dakimakuras come with zippers but i never expected this one to come with a zipper as well. I really do suggest you take a look through his ebay store, and take a look at the amazing products he carries. Not only does he have Dakimakuras but also Bed sheets. He does accept custom orders as well so just send him a message and he’ll contact you with all the information he’ll need for making a custom dakimakura for you as well. I love this Dakimakura and the overall quality, and price make it so worth it.

Although I fangirl-ed a ton in DC already, I couldn’t help myself to keep going here. From what you review it seems the quality is solid and quite worth the money (price seems to be the same as a regular double dakimakura, I guess it could have been worse). I was wondering about that for quite a while, and though I fell into temptation and got the official one, this store seems like a feasible choice now that you have given us the privilege of a review.
As a completely side note, I think my heart is gonna come out of my chest out of sheer fangirling; I’m seriously considering making a double dakimakura from that place and snuggle up to some hot bishounen. Dang, I’m blushing like a shoujo character and getting all bothered by the thought.

I looked over his prices and they’re not that cheap. They all seem to be about $85 – $100 which isn’t much less then the official ones.

Although I’m not saying it’s not worth it, sorry, gave the wrong impression. I was just expecting a greater price difference. Being able to customize a body pillow at a high quality is a wonderful option for me. Most of the official body pillow covers are a bit too ecchi for my tastes. I’m looking into if I can get a Vampire Knight cover with Zero on one side and Yuki on the other. I wouldn’t mind a Zoro (One Piece) body pillow but I can’t think of who I’d want on the other side…

So that’s how those pillows are called, dakimakura. .. Custom you say, so you provide a picture. In what resolution? I also questions myself of how a digital image can be placed without losing too much quality at such big pillow. It do look great!
Well, I take a look at the store at any case. You only buy the pillowcase right? Not the big pillow itself? Cause that would make the shipping costs…

the one i gave the guy was 3634 x 7548 but i don’t know what resolution is best for the dakimakura, you’d have to ask him that. mine was a teeny bit wider thatn it needed to be so there is some space at the top and bottom that is blank but i like it anyways.
