ME: HA! I’ll never stop getting all the Yoko figures I can get!
Again as usual another Yoko, this time it’s the Lottery prize B Banpresto Yoko. She’s a hard one to track down but i got my hands on her for a pretty penny through eBay. Was she worth it? Read on to find out!
Cute face, Dynamic pose, love the base and how it’s her trademark skull clip.
I love the open mouth and teeth, her Yoko-opai are very cute as well.
The paint overall is well done, not any parts on her that are poorly painted.
As I mentioned the cute base and well detailed shoes, love the zipper!
Now here comes the complaining parts. Love at that curve of her back, NO WAY CAN HER BACK BEND LIKE THAT AND NOT BE BROKEN! Really it’s a 90 degree angle! while it does give her more of a dynamic pose this way and makes her Butt look amazing it really isn’t at all realistic, even for an anime figure.
When you look at her from the angle that you see that bend in her back she really looks very strange.

I really do like her gun, it’s not hard to mess that up but then it’s possible.
Nice Butt for sure.
While I did have my complaints, as usual I still love her. Of course once again we all know my legendary bias towards Yoko and how she can do no wrong. So as always i’ll give the same recomendations I have been giving out. Love Yoko almost as much as me? Get your hands on this figure, she’s a rare one and a bit pricey but really a figure no Yoko fan should be without! Kinda iffy on Yoko but want a good figure of her? Try Gift Yoko, Enterbrain Yoko, Up-lark Yoko, or Alter Yomako Sensei. There are also some Amazing figures that are out that I have yet to get like the Kotobukiya Yoko you can see from Happy Soda or the yet to be released Bounty Hunter Yoko from Alter, She’ll be the Yoko to get!
Do I ever think i’ll stop getting Yoko figures? Not any time soon, still have tons more Yoko figures on order! It’s the first time that i’m not getting tired of getting figures of just one character. There is something special about each Yoko figure that I just can’t help but then them all! Will it Interfere with my regular collecting? Not at all as well! Still getting many Non-Yoko figures so it’s been a bit of a stretch to get them all but nothing shall stop me!

Very nice. Love how they used the skull clip for the base, too may figures now a days seem to suffer from fugly base syndrome.

Wow, this is a lottery prize figure? Everything about her is awesome except the really awkward bend in her back! Looks painful ^^;

this one actually one of the better sculpt of yoko figurines… too bad she’s not mass produced
seems like the quality is good considering it has “prize” on the name (was thinking something similar to sega prize quality)!

Oh! I finally remember what it was now. It was the camo-Yoko from the Yoko Portrait artbook. I think it’s considered official, but I don’t know if Gainax drew those.
And I think everyone broke the rifle on the EnterBrain Yoko. We did too.

Love the Yoko figure! Her pose isn’t totally unrealistic. I think I’m probably the only person next to Yoko who can bend my back like that!
I would totally get this figure if it wasn’t so hard to find! Maybe they will make a re-release?

Banpresto must be getting better. I bought their Ryuugu Rena PVC, and she came loose in the box, each piece wrapped up like a Happy Meal toy (but I’m 100% she
’s not a bootleg.) Not to mentaion the rather poor quality of the figure overall >_< Anyway, she was only from ‘08 so they seem to have improved quickly^^

well for a lottery prize they have to make sure the figures is of good quality, for normal releases they tend to be not so good

I had a chance to buy her for a decent price (well as decent as you can get with limited figures) but I skipped due to the curve in her back. I liked everything else about the figure but I really couldn’t overcome that oddness. My favorite Yoko figure (that I currently own) is the Enterbrain one. But I only actually own 2 Yoko figures right now so that’s not saying much, all the rest are on pre-order. Enterbrain would be my absolute favorite even over the pre-order Yoko figures if getting the gun in and out of her hands wasn’t so delicate.

Mine got a small crack in it that I can hide. With so many reporting that their guns completely broke when trying to put it in her hands I count myself lucky that it cracked in a way I can hide. When moving my figures I packed her with special attention and didn’t dis-assemble her. My 1/5 Scale Gift Yoko is in the mail

For a hardcore fan and collector, there is no such thing as too many figures of your favorite characters ^^; I’m kind of the same way with Kagami & Lucky Star figures. I like to collect anything Kagami-related that I can find
As for the figure, it’s quite cute aside from the biologically impossible back pose you pointed out >_< Ouch!
