Almost fell behind again on my reviews. But Iwon’t let that happen again! Here we have the Lovely Ranka Lee, the Nose Art ver. There is an awesome limited edtion of Ranka with her proper Green Hair, but alas she was a bit too much trouble go to get. So I’ve settled for the off color design instead. That is unless i ever find the Green Haired ver.
Megahouse as always does amazing work, I tend not to own as many Megahouse figures since they tend to focus on Popular series and release more Bleach, and One Peice figures that i’ll never really bother with. But sometimes they release these beauties that you just can’t pass up on!
While Ranka was everyone’s favorite for the Moe factor, i’ve always been a bit more of a Sheryl fan.
Plus with Ranka’s DFC it’ll be a bit difficult for someone like me to cosplay her…
Love her base and how it’s the entire Nose Art.
While many people complain about the hair color, i actually like the Yellow since it fits closer to the original Nose Art.
While Ranka is lacking in the Chest Department, she’s got some backup in the Butt Deparment.

While Ranka is cast off it is a tad pointless since they covered her up, but then it’s much more fitting with the Nose Art.

This Ranka is my second Macross Frontier figure. Can’t wait for the Megahouse Sheryl since it’s of the same outfit I cosplayed a while back. We do need more figures of this awesome series, and that reminds me! I can’t wait for the movie to come out! Again this figure is just stunning, I love the off color style they gave her for this version. It’ll be nice if i can track down the Mail Order version but I’m in no hurry.

Ah yellow stars in this one. I saw Paradigmshift’s (from DC.com) green-haired Ranka of this figure and she’s got green stars XD
I was tempted to get this one, but I do prefer the green hair which would cost more. And I am getting that Sheryl figure too! It’s my favourite outfit in the whole series!!! Especially during that first concert.
Oh and don’t forget Megahouse also makes Queen’s Blade figures… which is probably why you don’t have much of their figures ^^;;;

I think I saw this figure the other day over at Toylet! The first thing that caught my attention was her base, I think it’s a pretty creative way of displaying it, I’ve never seen another figure like it! I’ve never seen the show, but I do know that I’ve seen her with her green her and had no idea she was a blonde ^^; The furry boa you used makes it look like she’s posing against some furry clouds, it goes nicely with the light blue in the back too!

well she herself has green hair but it’s an alternate color scheme for this figure. The series is amazing and worth the watch. also thanks on the background, it’s supposed to maybe look like clouds and sky, only since the sky hasn’t been cooperating with me lately so i did an indoor shoot

She’s not underdeveloped, everyone else is just overdeveloped! (Except for loli mode Klan, Alto-hime…)
But really, for all my love of the DFC, I’m still a Sheryl fan. Excellent photos of an excellent fig, as always.

I didn’t care for Macross Frontier much but I did like Ranka. She’s just too cute to not like ^^. By the way, I just saw some new preview images of the Megahouse’s Sheryl Nose Art figure that matches this one. There are pics floating around the net if you haven’t seen them yet

I need to watch more of this show. Only seen the first two episodes so far. Took me a while to figure out who she was till you said she’s supposed to have green hair, then is clicked.

Still haven’t watched Macross Frontier. I’m really hoping that Bandai will pick it up, but they’ve been really slow lately. Every time a figure comes out though I want to get it so much. Though I don’t know if I’ll get this one, I think I am going to get the Alpha Sheryl. And with the news of the Alpha Ranka and the N.A. Sheryl…. I might end up having to get all four before I even see the show! Plus there’s that damn Nyan Nyan Ranka that strangely begs me to pre-order it>.<

well to make a long story very short, from my understanding the original license holders of macross don’t like how the US went with the series so they won’t let them release frontier in the US

I recently got my limited edition green hair Ranka on my trip to Japan.
She’s hard to find and on top of that, she is pretty expensive.

I had this figure for my birthday, and as I said it on Shadonia, I like this figure (she is my favorite Ranka for the moment). Really nice shooting ! Congratulation !
