I haven't been a fan of Yamato's work for quite some time. When I first started collecting figures they were more readily available and I owned a few but after I started finding better quality pieces I sold them all since they were so horrible. I haven't bought a Yamato figure in so many years but recently… [more]
One of the awesome things I love about Etsy is fniding other talented people who make amazing things you end up buying. One thing I spotted was this adorable dress for a Dollfie Dream. But Alas since Yoko is such a busty girl it's hard to find outfits that fit her and I almost passed. That was until… [more]
Going to already warn you this is a very picture heavy post. Over 100+ pictures but really not as many as I wish I took. We left LAX at 12:42pm on Tuesday the 20th of March. Only to arrive in Japan 12 hours later Wednesday the 21st of March at 4:30pm. We lost a whole day on the flight but the flight… [more]
More plushies! I love getting custom orders and I love when they are characters I want to make that's even better! I have so many ideaas for new plushies to make, but orders come first so if there is a character you'd like then make that custom order! Of course this time it's the adorable Kagamine… [more]
More loaned figures for me, I’ve got some great friends and this past Saturday my good friend Daniel brought over tons of figures for me to take pictures of for review! First off we’ve got the lovely Kotobukiya Riannon from Tears To Tiara.
Now I haven’t purchased a Kotobukiya Figure other than the Kotobukiya Yoko in a long time. Part of me felt their quality was lacking but Daniel has shown me otherwise with these new figures of his.
He’s a huge fan of Kotobukya figures, not only for the figure quality but for there price. They tend to be a tad cheaper than some of the other major figure companies out now.
The detail and color on this amazing Riannon figure is just stunning!
Her ensemble is just so adorable!
Such a beautiful flow to her clothes, so natural and smooth.
Even the coins on her sash are so intricate and detailed!
Awesome design on the staff!
I have to say, I’m very much sold on this figure! Once I get some funds back up again I’m so getting my own to be in my collection!
Her hat is also magnetic and stays on really well!
Such a cute face!
I’m glad to have been able to get the chance to get my hands on Riannon, She’s lovely and stunning and I doubt I would have had a chance otherwise. It’s nice to see other people’s figures and see and understand what beauty they see with those figures. Even after I’m able to get back on my feet and review my own figures, I’ll continue this series of Loaned Figures since it’s giving me a chance to get my hands and see what other figures are out there that I may have missed myself! Would i have purchased this figure beforehand? No. But now after seeing her in person, holding her and getting to take in every angle of her? YES!

It’s a nice figure and I like the coins, but I just find the base a bit too boring. It would’ve been nice if they’d done something with it.
I do agree the base is a little plain but it’s not a huge base and it does it’s job.
I like Riannon a lot. I decided to get her after I got the nendoroid. She has a lovely smile and as you’ve stated her clothes flow beautifully. It’s too bad Kotobukiya has started to charge higher prices for their new figures now. Something about Kotobukiya USA coming to a close? I don’t really know.
I love the nendorid, almost picked her up myself but got the mio/yui nendos instead
I don’t like it, her face just seems really blank to me. Kinda like derp derp derp. Yeah but good pics none the less.
To each there own of course, I guess even seeing her in my photos might not do her all the justice she deserves
I love a lot of things about her, but in the end I couldn’t stand her base and sold her.
Yeah I can see how the base could bug you enough to sell her.
Looks pretty good. If I saw this at a con, I’d pick it up. The base is kinda annoying but I’d deal with it.
Great site btw. I’ve been looking for a good figure site for some time, and this seems to be perfect.
thanks bunches! It reminds me we need to exchange links!
Thanks! I’ll put you on my blogroll right now.
No problem, and thanks to you too!
Thank you for reviewing Riannon she looked great on your photos hehe
I would love to get her Nendoroid and Arawn together
no problem! She was a treat to see in person! Also i saw the nendo in person and she’s ADORABLE!
