Our apartment – 2016 NSFW

It's been not only a long time since I've posted here, but it has been a long time since I shared photos of my place. The last time you guys saw where I lived I was still living at home with my parents. It was back in 2012, so easily 4 years ago you saw my collection. Now you can see not only has my… [more]

[Alter] – Melty Review

So since I've moved into my new apartment I still hadn't set up my photography studio. Seems work has me busier than I thought I would ever be, however I took some time this past weekend to set up my studio so I could take some photos of my latest purchase, Alter's 1/8th Melty from Shining Hearts. Now… [more]

[Orchid Seed] – Yuki Review NSFW

Pre-ordered this figure the moment she was released for pre-order. I needed for for multiple reasons, she's sexy/half naked, plus while she's not Sora she reminds me of Sora from Yosuga no Sora! But she's Yuki from Maid Yome and she's pretty amazing. The only issue is her adorable mouth really looks… [more]

Nendoroid Storage Container

I recently went on a trip to a magical place, The Container Store. Ok it's not really magical, but I happen to have discovered a love for organizing my home. I tend to prefer Ikea and Daiso but we went to The Container Store on a whim and I discovered this lovely storage container! I've been needing… [more]

Loaned Figures; Real Image Yoko

The Loaned Figures series continues! This time it’s a figure that I must get my hands on! A figure that even with my obsession of Yoko I was apprehensive on getting her myself but all those worries have melted away with seeing her in person!

Real Image Yoko by Max Factory, a figure that i saw and said YUCK! I didn’t like her face, her body proportions at all! I felt that i might get her and have her in the background of my wall of Yoko figures.

Yet seeing her in person I’m blown away completely! I feel that I just didn’t give this Yoko a chance when she really deserved a chance from me!

I first felt her face was awkward, but now seeing her in the flesh, her eyes are my favorite part! They just are so bright and so sexy! Something just makes you want to look at her and nothing else!

The glasses look amazing and you change it out by changing out her hair piece, which is good so that way you don’t just lose a little piece!

I also have to say her body is killer! While it would obviously have to be since she’s Yoko, the real life proportions make her look even better!

Makes you feel that this is what someone would look like if they cosplayed her well!

Very nice under boob for the boys!

Great legs!

Love how she holds the gun! Also love how you don’t have to put the gun in her hands, I’ve broken my fair share of guns trying to get them into the right place!

I definitely need this Yoko for my Yoko collection! She’s so stunning and amazing and for sure a MUST GET for any fan of Yoko!

Love this figure! Good to see that you’re still rockin’ and rollin’… even with loaned figures!! πŸ™‚

  2. Flip says:

That is one nice figure, even if the face is a little odd!

    • Dancing Queen says:

The real image look is really different but not bad at all

Im a fan of stylized and simplistic works so the normal Yoko <3. But I have nothing against 3-D or realistic things, for all things somethings work better than others. But I digress, it'sΒ still a very lovely figure.

Gorgeous pictures for a gorgeous figure ^^
She looks really impressive, from paintwork and sculpt, but somehow to me she is not appealing at all. Not really into the “real image” thing tehe ^^;; But like you, maybe it is because I have not seen her in person yet.

I have this figure, and I must say that I am pleased with how she turned out, a great buy, this being the second Yoko figure I got. Nice pictures πŸ™‚

  5. Panther says:

This was an awesome figure. I actually did a photoshoot for her but I have no idea when I will ever get her out. Overall, it was something that even exceeded my expectations for Max Factory.

i must agree that its a great figure as compared to the typical kawaii types.. its more detailed particularly.. nice shots..

  7. Blowfish says:

Awww this must be so hard for you to review her.
You hold her in your hands and yet she isnt yours and some time will pass until youll be able to obtain her.
    Poor DQ ^^

Im not an as big Yoko nut as you so I skipped her but shes a really sweet figure.I really do like “real” approaches on anime characters

  8. ddh4mster says:

Thank you for reviewing ‘Real Image’ Yoko ^.^/
She looks gorgeous in photo, it certainly is a nice change to have something with a ‘real’ approach aside from the typical Anime face.
I am looking forward to the next figurine review ^^

    • Dancing Queen says:

hey, thank you! I wouldn’t have gotten to see her in person until i bought her, and that won’t be for a while πŸ™

  9. Leonia says:

A nicely figure (even if I don’t like real face). Thank for the sharing !

  10. bluedrakon says:

I want her NOW! Like always, you do a great set of photos, thanks for the views.

I saw this Yoko at Frank n Sons maybe a few months back. Kinda cool to see her in person. She was 90 bucks.

“A figure that even with my obsession of Yoko I was apprehensive on getting her myself”

Yup exactly how I felt, I own many Yoko figures (not as many as you though) and this one felt too risky for me to try. I still may pass on her just because I want to save money, there are only so many $100+ figures I can buy before I put myself in trouble. But your pictures have convinced me that she is a beauty. My biggest concern was the look of her waist and it doesn’t bother me in your images. I’ll keep an eye out to see if she goes on sale anywhere.

    • Dancing Queen says:

Lately they keep releasing amazing figures for so much money! It’s hard to keep up and get them all πŸ™

  13. Andy says:

omg I love yoko she is so beautiful. so you say when you see her in person see looks beater? because I was like you when i first saw her to.

  14. GI Joe says:

Awesome pics. You really catch how amazing these figures are. Makes me want to go buy one. lol. Just beautiful. Thanks.

  15. Max Lingley says:

My initial impressions are the same, do not like this figure. But maybe if I saw it in person I’d feel differently about it. Yoko is one of my favorite character designs and I feel this one breaks away from her charm too much for me.

  16. […] not enough though. I’m currently missing a few, like Wave’s Yomako Sensei figures and Real Image Yoko, but I’ll actually be getting her […]

  17. lobodemon says:

Love this figure. Really high on my want to buy list..
