I’m probably not getting her though because I’m trying to restrain how many K-ON figures I buy. I have two nendoroids and an Alter Azusa on preorder, which is a lot for a show I’m only casually into.
It’ll be hard to stay away with how popular the show was, they’ll be constantly releasing k-on figures.

Argh… beautiful figure. I saw pics of her during the wonderfestival 2010 time… she is looking gorgeous. Her skin is quite pale though… unlike Alter’s mio…. but the pose & expression is so nice!
Gahh… I’d do ANYTHING for a 1/4 scale of this figure… Freeing is known for their 1/4th scales… NOW they choose to start making 1/8 scales? ;_;

ACK! I’m really not a fan, but I seem to be on the outside of the current K-On! buzz. I watched the series, hell I even tried to like it. But in all honesty I just couldn’t take to the series or the characters. Plus in general I’m not a fan of figures where the character looks pained/embarassed. BUT I do own a few Mikuru figures where her expression is less than happy, so it depends on the situation.
BUT to each his own! I’m sure I own/love figures you wouldn’t want too.

I liked the Alter version, just had to cancel my order due to lack of funds at the time
I was surprised you liked Yui more than Mio considering many ppl say Mio is like Yoko
but there is something much more endearing about yoko than mio, mio is just a moe blob really. take every think someone thinks is moe and put it into one character. I personally am drawn to very energetic characters, GENKI types and Yui is the epitome of the happy go lucky character
