One thing I like about the BRS figures I haven’t seen one yet that suffers from fugly base syndrome. They all have some kind of diorama, which would explain part of their high cost.

Yea I got a couple of one that look like the base was modeled off a tupperware lid.
I love when they come with well detailed bases, but then it’s frustrating when they come with huge pointless bases too!

Saw her on pics from WonFes when that was and instantly fell in love, missed out on the original cannon ver so this was a definite buy for me. Ordered instantly. :3 Now all we have to do is wait for the Dead Master figure to pop up for pre order. Those two coupled is going to be totally awesome, maybe need to invent a new term for that level of awesomeness. ^^
I wonder if the deadmaster is to pair with the original BRS or if they will also have an Anime version of it
I really like this version of BRS there was another that everyone seemed to love but I hated. I’m really more interested in her counterpart Dead Master? I think it was.

yeah thats the one I didn’t dig, I donno her face just looks so expressionless in that one. This one has a way more dynamic look to it that I think is just awesome.

I skipped out on the original BRS for she was honestly too simple for me(I bought Saber Lily & WiM miku at the time). I’m so glad- because now I can afford to get this awesome anime ver. I already got her pre-ordered, and I can’t wait until October. GSC delayed the original BRS though… I’m hoping that doesn’t happen with this one. The details on this are just superb. The base… the chains… the giant cannon… her flowing jacket and wavy hair… everything is stunning.
I’ve already set aside another 9800Y for the DeadMaster anime ver. (I really hope it doesn’t cost that much though… the DM sculpt isn’t half as intense as the BRS sculpt!) These figures will look just stunning placed side by side.
I do still regret not buying the original BRS… she’s unbelievably hard to find now too(atleast for a decent price), especially because bootlegs are all over the place. I’ve convinced myself that it’s for the better though, because I plan on buying the figma & nendoroid BRS and DM vers too… !!
It’s only halfway through the year & I’m almost broke already. God knows what GSC has in store for us next!

I preordered this on AmiAmi the day it was released. I am still heartbroken I had to turn down the original BRS figure.
Coincidentally I’d been looking in to finding one and the best I could find was about $250 (Just too much with so many other beauties coming out!!!) so I gave up on ever owning her.
I’m patiently waiting for the release of the Dead Master figma and the Dead Master animated version figure so that I can have the set. This year has been so expensive!

I just hate it when I see a figure I really like but then keep dragging and dragging on because of the prices and the what-ifs (what if my favorite figures get re-released?) I realize the good thing about pre-orders is that you can (usually) cancel. But I never do unfortunately. So I’m going to be late and pre-order… eventually. Sigh.
