So we all know of the lovely stunning and just amazing figure of Black Rock Shooter that was released a while back. Did you miss out on getting your own? I sure did, with her hefty price tag and my lack of employment it was hard to find the way to get her and I ended up having to pass. The OVA as well was just released and if you’ve seen it then you will want this figure just as much as I do now, I caught it the other day and was blown away by how much I liked it. I adore this picture and I love seeing it and knowing that this amazing figure all started from this beautiful illustration! I can’t wait till I can get my hands on her and with her release date set for December we’ve got the time to save our pennies! Yep I have been ‘regretting it ever since’ and I will still be regretting it. My job situation is still stuck in suckville, while it’s covering the bills there is little left for all of my too many hobbies.

I was so unbelievably pissed at myself that I missed her original release. I remember thinking ‘wow, she’s expensive, I’m not sure I want to pay that much for a figure’. I’m so, so glad that they’re re-releasing her in December, she’s already pre-ordered with me and I’m feeling much better! I have the 1/8 scales (both anime and original ver ) and the figmas pre-ordered at this point too… and now they’re working on releasing the third baddie, Gold★Black Saw – the anime ver and the figma ver can be found on MFC if you haven’t already seen them. =)

Missed her the first time which made me preorder the anime ver. But won’t change the orders as I really like the dynamic pose of the anime ver. ^^ Would be cool to be having both tho, but that’s for those rich people. :3 Either way, my goal as of now is to collect at least one scaled figure of the whole cast. With Geshumaru as the one I’m looking most forward to see if they can manage a cool figure for. :3 Not sure that will come as she/he hasn’t been a part of the OVA as of yet. :/

Rich people, or stupid people like me. =P A good third of my money goes toward figures, more than that towards anime goods in general.
I never get to do much of anything other than collect this stuff, haha.

Yeah well, I’d say that I probably use like 90% of the money I get on figures/goods. xD But the shipping and taxes makes it painful, slap on another 40% of the figures original cost and that’s what you end up with.
But I’m still a student so just gets about 12000¥/month. :3 Think I haven’t bought anything besides SC2 for the past year other than figures. xD

Hrmm.. I will be having a little bit difficulty to acquire this, financially wise… in addition to that USD vs. Yen is bad also recently. I have the Anime Ver. on pre-order…however not sure if I would be picking this up. It is a good figurine that a must for BRS fan ^^/
The last time I missed the order is because the store owner said that the distributor is receiving less BRS stock than the ones they are pre-ordering, thus his order got canceled and the goods went to bigger companies

I don’t like this attitude of figure makers. They make a figure that is already sold out on the day of the release. If you don’t preorder you won’t have a chance to get it. But what about people who are not figure-fanatics or watch an anime later?
My boyfriend is a bit sad that he could not get the Hanekawa (Bakemonogatari) Nendroid because he wasn’t interested at first and became a fan of the character later.
