Black Rock Shooter, the one the only. Based on such a beautiful design she is just such a lovely figure. Ever since her original release I’ve been needing to get my hands on this figure. I sadly had to pass up on her first run but the heaven’s opened up and Good Smile bestowed upon us a Re-Release! So I was lucky enough to be able to finally get her into my collection!
I even double lucked out that Good Smile had an issue with Animation ver. of Black Rock shooter and a missing star that people’s interested waned on Black Rock Shooter figures and this particular figure was on Clearance on Hobby search and I was able to get her at a nicely discounted rate.
I adore this figure so much, she’s so well sculpted and designed It’s hard not to appreciate her.
The chain is a huge pain the butt, the instructions that come with the figure are useless but I found thsi amazing video that shows an easy way to get them on!
She’s got some nice legs
I adore her base, It just makes the figure, especially how it helps her tower over other figures, that way she’s a centerpiece item.
The gun is amazing as well as her backside.
The original and the best, Black Rock Shooter Original version is just lovely. Sadly it seems that with the flood of many Black Rock Shooter figures and the hiccup that GSC had with Animation version people are not so gung-ho to own them as they were a year ago. I still personally will collect the rest of the set as I beleive in GSC and do beleive in completing sets. Will you be getting more BRS figures? Do you have any and if so which do you own?

Definately one of the best figures I have, especially with the Nendoroid version sitting in front ^_^
if i hadn’t found that video i would have thrown the figure accross the room in frustration trying to get the damn chain on!

I do believe in completing sets too, so at the moment I’m left with DM animation-version and BGS to arrive at my doorstep. Still yet to see pre-orders for Strength

no idea i’m hoping and thanks, it’s actually a whole bunch of burnt up work and paper, i wanted to go for a destruction look but you cant’ tell that well in the photos sadly

I own her since her original release and never got around doing her.
I muts admit that I dont care about her character at all though since the major points for me were her scars and the big ass gun.In the end i was a bit disappointed how fake the scar was painted but then the overall figure is pretty,pretty sweet.
Wont collect any of the other BRS Girls though since ,like I wrote, dont care about anything BRS related^^
You put something of black rock shooter and im hear!! I love brs figures but I dont have this one but I do have the anime ver. the ones I have are figma brs,figma dead master,and nendroid brs,and geting figma bgs. And the black rock shooter game with whit rock shooter You get figmas to dont you? And are you geting the game?
You were really lucky! I checked Hobby Search just now and they were sold out. The original is amazing, but I know that if I find a way to get it, I’ll want to complete the set, which would be hard since there is Dead Master, Black Gold Saw, and Strength (coming sometime). I do have the BRS figma and nendoroid so I haven’t completely missed the BRS wagon.
And here I thoght the animation version of her was a pain in the butt to assemble, this one seems even more frustrating. I’m glad you found a video to help.

Great review and thanks for the video… out of the 3 BRS pvcs I own the hardest one for me was the sword version putting the coat in her hand….. GSC could of done a better job of making peg or some grasping point for it but what evers. As to the missing star on the animation one I kept it in the nice little envelope they sent along with a cd with the video ripped from Youtube on how to put it on.
Darn.. this is the figure that I drooled over a couple of years ago.. and yes this is the one I would have loved.. ugh no space.
