Yoko hasn’t gotten any love in a while. Been so busy working on plushies that my photography is suffering! I need to do more figure reviews and take more pictures of my girls! Yoko is wearing a lovely skirt from Maridah’s shop, paired with a shirt i picked up from Chun, some socks I got while in Japan from Volks in Akiba and some shoes Danny gave me. Been wanting a pair of sneakers for Yoko for quite some time so it was a perfectly timed gift!
I love how the both the skirt and shirt fit Yoko. I tend to cover her up a little more than other DD owners would. I am not a huge fan of showing off cleavage and I think it shows when you look at the clothing I choose for Yoko most days. The skirt fits just at her waist and looks amazing. I love how Maridah’s designs for her skirts fit the DDdy body as well as a DD body. I’m always having trouble finding clothes for Yoko!
While in Japan I picked up some of these cute little DD Sized Cameras. I got a total of 4 and gifted one to my brother so Suika can have her own camera. I bought one at volks for 350 yen, then found a gashapon machine in Ikebukuro that had them for 200 yen each. I used up all my 100 yen coins and bought 3 more. It didn’t occur to me but I should have exchanged some bills for more coins and cleaned out the machine them sold them here. I know so many people who would love a DD sized camera at a reasonable price!
Yoko has just such a pretty face, it’s hard to stop taking pictures of her and remember that Yui needs some love too!
Also while in Akiba I picked up this badass gun. I figure Yoko knows her way with guns so she’ll love the extra weapons to play with! This was another thing I should have picked up multiples of. The gun was only 1,800 yen! I could have at least got them as gifts for other people >_< Oh well, I’ll know better for next time I’m in Japan!
During the shoot, a gust of wind came by and knocked off Yoko. She hurt her nose a little bit so i’ll have to buff it out. you can see it a little bit in the photos sadly but she’ll be fine after I fix her up!
Also, Introducing my little Yui! Technically the body belongs to my MDD Kinomoto Sakura that I’m making custom. But I bought the Yui head anticipating that I’ll be buying a DD or DDS body soon. So while I wait for the head for Sakura to get a faceup Yui is using this body. I think she looks adorable as an MDD! Especially with this blonde wig! Yui is another favorite character of mine and while I didn’t have the funds when her DD came out I was happy to find people selling her head at reasonable prices! Yet each time I tried to buy them, somehow someone else always beat me to it! So when I spotted Yui for only $250 I had to jump and fast! I snagged her up and I plan on either trying to get ahold of her original outfit one day, or just having a friend help me make it! I do know I’ll be looking for a short brown wig but not her Original wig as I never felt it looked right on her face.
Yui is wearing an adorable dress I picked up from Maridah’s shop. I actually ordered it while I was in Japan! I got back to the hotel room after a long day of filming for AX Live and got online to see she was selling dresses for MDDs! At that moment Yui had no clothes of her own and was borrowing an outfit from Suika. So now only was the dress too adorable to pass up it was a great price! It fits her very well and is lined on the top part to avoid staining!
Some last bits of Yoko to finish up this shoot. I love these socks I got, I was apprehensive as to whether or not it would even look nice but while I don’t remember how much they cost they were pretty cheap and look adorable as nice loose socks!
Really wanted to show off the shoes a little more! Anyone know where I can pick up more shoes like these? Would love more in different colors!
