Haven’t done one of these in a while, been so busy with plushies, job hunting, AX Live work and cosplays. It’s been so hectic but I decided that I can’t neglect my site either so I’m going to do my best to keep up with new reviews! I’ve been wanting to review this beautiful Sore figure so quite some time. My boyfriend is a huge fan of Sora and has 4 of them! When this particular Sora was announced I ran and told him, it was an instant pre-order for him.
She comes with another option head where you can have her with her hair down but that was packed away with the box so sadly no pictures of her like that this time.
Sora is so pretty and i’m glad that Alter decided to make a version of her with her dress than how all the other companies went and did swimsuits or gym uniforms. She is a sexy and seductive character but I always did appreciate how innocent and sweet she looked in this dress.
As always Alter does an amazing job with the details on her dress, the ribbon, the buttons, the small ribbing, even how it’s gathered and tied in the back.
Even her shoes are adorable and nicely detailed. She can’t stand alone without her base but luckily right where i was taking the picture there was a small rock that fit right under and helped me balance her perfectly!
What I seem to love about Alter is how somehow all the figures they make seem to have such subdued colors and yet it makes them stand out even more.

Sora is wonderful from any angle.
Each strand of hair flows so wonderfully well, Alter is one of the best figure companies at sculpting hair so naturally.
If there is anything I’m happy about it’s not even this figure but looking around my boyfriend’s room and seeing him progress into a wonderful figure collector. Everyone has their own taste in figures, having all the same figures I own doesn’t make you a good figure collector, it’s having figures you truly love yourself that makes you a wonderful figure collector. When I met him almost 2 years ago he had very few figures, mostly small gashapons, he has since grown to have so many they don’t all fit in his room. He even has some that I wish I had, like this Sora figure. But alas maybe one day we’ll be able to join our collections. As for this Sora, she’s wonderful, I can’t think of a single thing I don’t like about this figure. I wish I had the option part of her with her hair down for pictures as I’d love to be able to show you. Maybe another day I’ll add some pictures once we find the box that has her hair.
